| Posted: 24 May 2018 04:49 PM PDT I'm using the DUWS-R mod, and everything is beautiful and working somewhat, but I got a few questions: 1 - What is High Command, and what is it's actual use. 2 - Can I disband the rescued allies from side missions into the base so they work for the AI effort instead of automatically becoming a 99 man squad under my command? 3 - Why can't I use Med Kit or Mechanic Kit? Can I become one or another or both on my char? The thing is amazing as I mainly play solo, but I need the bots to help me and a proper Manual or Wiki on how to use it all would be more than welcome, the ingame descriptions are too basic. | opening arma results in black screen crash, have to reboot Posted: 24 May 2018 09:51 AM PDT I've recently come back to arma and found that its broke. when launching arma from the actual launcher or A3 and with mods and without mods enabled i can load into the main menu and connect to a server but after 1-3 seconds in game i get a complete black screen on both monitors and they both detect an input. i cannot alt tab or ctrl alt del. completely stuck on what to do and i just really want to play arma (one time i had task manager open on my second monitor and i noticed that arma went from a 'app' top a 'background app' and had 0%cpu and 56%mem) (and yes i have validated game files) (opening arma through the .exe doesn't work either) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Rookie question - how to enable ACE advanced medical on a dedicated server using TADST? Posted: 24 May 2018 08:46 AM PDT Hi all, We've been having some problems using ACE Medical on the dedicated server we've set up. All of the mods and missions work perfectly fine but we can't seem to use the advanced medical system. When we ran servers off our local computers, the person hosting could overwrite the mission or client ACE settings and force advanced medical that way, but obviously there is no way to do this from the dedicated server. I am a noob and had testet some Exile-servers (searched for PVE) but all of them where with zombies. And I want to try some more militaristic style instead of the everlasting onslaught of zombies ... Details & Pictures inside Posted: 24 May 2018 07:09 AM PDT Sorry for the poor picture quality... :/ Bassically, my issue is this - when starting the game, the launcher will run fine. I've uninstalled all addons in an attempt to solve the issue, but to no avail. After clicking play, an error flashes on screen. (Which is the first picture on the imgur page. "No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgsurfaces/roads.rough." After clicking okay, the game loads - and another 2 error messages pop up. Which are the next 2 pictures. "No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgSimpleTask/Icon 2 D.Texture Background." and, "No entry 'bin\config.bin/cfgInGameUI/Cursor/Targerting.MarkedTargetNoLosRemote." Finally, the main menu is completely blank, and the tabs are blank as well. Most work, but take you to another blank page. However, the campaign tab will take you to the campaign. Although it's almost entirely devoid of anything other than a picture. I've contacted support about this. But i was hoping to get this resolved immediatly.
