Found a really cool official Champions art, but couldn't find a digital form. Posted: 01 Apr 2018 06:45 PM PDT https://i.redd.it/aq118spm3dp01.jpg I saw this poster on nintendoeverything while searching for some BotW concept arts, I believe this was taken from "Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Master Works". I wonder if there is an online digital version that doesn't have a page cut in the middle? Source: [link] [comments] |

Most underrated and overrated zelda game? Posted: 01 Apr 2018 07:09 PM PDT Overrated for me is Majoras Mask. Underrated is Minish Cap. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:21 AM PDT Just a reminder to everyone that the 20th Anniversary of Ocarina of Time is later this year and I'm wondering what everyone would like to see Nintendo do for it. Another remake, but this time with HD graphics for the Switch? I feel like the proper way to play OOT is on a TV screen so having the options of playing it both on a TV screen or in handheld mode would be cool imo. If not another remaster then what would you like to see Nintendo do? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:21 AM PDT Been really loving BotW so far. I've been exploring all over, and I'm enjoying just taking my time to experience the world. Problem is, I have no idea where I'm supposed to go. I have the quest to 'recover memories' but from what I've read that's optional and frankly I dont wanna do it, and it doesn't seem necessary to the story. My other quest is to free the big 4, which seems impossible at this point given that I have like a boko club or something. What the heck am I supposed to do? Edit: I'm pretty sure I'm just an idiot. [OOT] The entire soundtrack played on piano! Posted: 01 Apr 2018 10:21 PM PDT |
Posted: 01 Apr 2018 08:42 PM PDT Seeing the ruins of the Lon Lon Ranch in Central Hyrule really made me wish that Malon (or at least an incarnation of her) could've been made for Breath of the Wild. Sadly, due to the isolationist nature of the game, I guess Nintendo didn't think it would be totally appropriate. For the sake of this topic, imagine that there was a sidequest chain that starred Malon and moreorless entailed Link helping her out and her eventually falling for Link, maybe even giving him a really powerful item at the end of the quest chain. It'd be hard, but not impossible to make it flow well. How would you go about it? [link] [comments] |
Huge gripe with most Zelda games Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:05 AM PDT Man do I hate when you beat Ganon (or really just the final boss) and the credits come up. You see everyone doing great and feeling happy as there's now peace again, and you get to see some nice cutscene of Link and Zelda talking about Hyrule. Great right? Of course! I feel like I've saved hyrule and I've done what I was supposed to do. The real problem here is right after you're done with the credits, you're teleported to your last save. MAN DOES THAT SUCK ASS. What was the point of all of this then if ganon is just going to play the song of time to never die lmao. If I recall correctly Wind Waker didn't do this and actually had some kind of post game, and that's why it's my favorite Zelda and game of all time (tied with BOTW). This has annoyed me since Ocarina Of Time, but it really started to bug me with BOTW. I defeat calamity Ganon yet I still have to see Hyrule always be in ruins, and never see Hyrule Castle without malice and that purple magic shit around it? Edit: Wind Waker didn't have a post game, but it didn't teleport you straight back to Ganons castle like most other games. Didn't it teleport you to Outset Island? Haven't played the game in a while (BOTW really took over and I've been playing TP lately, finished it today) [link] [comments] |
A question about Ocarina of Time (Spoilers) Posted: 01 Apr 2018 03:41 PM PDT Link seals Ganon away with the master sword in the adult timeline and frees the sages, so how did they seal him away when he went back to a child? Isn't the master sword the only way to actually defeat him? And how would the sages be free'd if Link went back before it all? This confuses me. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 01 Apr 2018 11:55 PM PDT Was albw a remake to altp before? They are extremely similar, and I love that, both stand among my favorites, but honestly, a link between worlds served me as a cheat sheet for a link to the past. [link] [comments] |
I made a Zelda Triforce with Raspberry inside for a friend's birthday. Posted: 01 Apr 2018 10:53 AM PDT Made this two years ago, never posted it. I don't game nearly as much anymore but I've always loved the triforce. For a birthday of a good friend of mine I decided to make a Triforce out of wood with a Raspberry inside for some old school fun. [link] [comments] |
Can I use the Wii classic controller to play Twilight Princess Wii version? Posted: 01 Apr 2018 01:46 PM PDT I searched and found conflicting info. Some say yes, most say no. I was gonna buy the Nintendo Classics version of the game, don't know if that makes a difference. [link] [comments] |
