The real reason to stop at Embershard Mine on the way to Riverwood.

I'm completing sidequests for the Thieves Guild, but Vex and Delvin seem to be engaged in a passive-aggressive rivalry at my expense.

What have I done..

A friend of mine is new to Skyrim and was just getting the feel of it. He was having some trouble with the Giant Frostbite Spider at Bleak Falls Barrow and I suggested him to use a bow (he was trying to slash him with an imperial sword). Now he has a level 30 character and guess what? He is a Sneak Archer.

Do these glowing tiles at the College of Winterhold do anything?

Arcadia was selling a Do Not Delete chest. I impulsively bought it. Is it safe to keep it?

Help a beginner. Sneak Archer, can't find 2 guides saying same things !

Posted: 28 Apr 2018 04:22 AM PDT

Hello. I'm a full beginner, will buy the game this afternoon for switch.

I will go for this famous sneaky archer build (always loved ranged weapons in games). But Perks and stats distribution are not so clear on the internet. (I'm new but I know the "meme thing" with everybody becoming sneak archer, don't blame me please)

  • First I should prioritize Archery and Stealth.

  • But, is it necessary to go into smithing/enchanting ? is it worth it ? and why ?? will it have an impact on having the best bow ?

  • stat distribution: some people says to not put any point in magic. Others say to put far more points in stamina than into health, and sometimes the opposite. I'm lost...

  • Heavy / light armor. I understand light armor is better early game. But I read that lategame, heavy armor will have no more downside. So, it's just about which style you prefer ? I love the famous heavy armor (don't know the name), so If I go for heavy armor, what will be the downsides ?

  • On Switch, will I be able to reset all my perks/stat distribution ?

Thanks

Am I the only one who creates 12 different Characters to try each play style?

Posted: 28 Apr 2018 03:00 AM PDT

Haven't played since it came out.

Posted: 28 Apr 2018 07:57 AM PDT

Decided to start Skyrim over again. I had it when it first came out on Xbox 360. Now I'm playing it on PC. Stopped playing before the dlcs even came out. I'm pretty excited. I wanted to get it when I got the switch but I need something to play now and probably I will eventually whenever I can afford the switch. Wish me luck.

Dragons wont leave me alone

Posted: 28 Apr 2018 07:37 AM PDT

Literally, most of the dragons i encounter, almost never ascend(i'm just a lvl 10 char, so i don't have that shout that drops these fucks from skies) and they just keep following me no matter how far or where do i go. One is stalking me and flaming me, for already 25 minutes, and i swear he never did land. So, i can't kill him due to being melee only, and i can't run away from him. What the hell, I've never encountered this on PC in my 350 hours of gameplay, but as i'm just 8 hours in a game on xbox 360, this happened 3 times already. What gives? Is this a thing for real?
