When a dragon lands in an open-air town/city... Posted: 06 Apr 2018 08:42 PM PDT Do you ever think of that guard who was jealous of his cousin out fighting dragons as he watches it descend from the sky and his eyes widen beneath his helmet as he goes "Oh fuck"? Do you ever think of how that guard has to now watch as the citizens he's supposed to be defending get burnt alive and his fellow guardsmen get snapped up and shaken around and crushed beneath the dragon's tail as he valiantly puts away his bow and draws his sword and shield, dashing towards the beast? Do you ever think of the feelings of that guard who sees this random naked person walk into his city - a known criminal with a bounty over 10k - with a weapon but no armor, not harmed by anything that happens to him, as he runs towards the dragon and begins frantically attacking? Do you ever wonder what goes through that guard's mind as he sees the dragon finally croak and he puts away his weapons before heading towards the person who yields and hands you the full sum of his 10,580 septim bounty who, all the while, has this brownish bluish wind flying around him as the dragon turns into a skeleton? Do you ever wonder if that guard has a brain defect when he says: "My cousin's out fighting dragons and what do I get? Guard duty." After nearly getting killed by a dragon, with the bodies of all of his fallen comrades and civilians - Alvor the Blacksmith, Sven the Minstrel, his mother who was yelling about seeing a dragon not one week ago, the town drunk - lying dead, charred to a crisp or lying in a pool of their own blood or tossed aside? Dark Brotherhood won't contact me Posted: 07 Apr 2018 04:59 AM PDT As the title says. I'm on my (5th?) playthrough and I'm trying to join the Brotherhood, I got word of the kid in Windhelm from a bar, spoke to him pretending to be an assassin, killed Grelod but nothing has happened since. I traveled to Whiterun and usually I'll either be greeted by a courier with the famous "We Know" note, and/or I'll sleep for a couple hours and wake up in that cabin, but I've slept and waited for what feels like 2 in-game weeks, walked around Whiterun waiting for the courier and fast travelled to a couple different cities but nothing's happened.
