To creative mode or not to creative mode?

I love seeing everyones awesome constructions and everytime I say to my self "man I want to do something like that" and I have done some larger builds but nothing reddit worthy. My question is how do you guys do it? Do you use CM and just go nuts or do you play it straight up and farm out the gazillion of mats needed? Do you build solo or with a group? I've done some stuff in CM but it kind of gets boring after a few hours when your playing solo and on an unpopulated server.

Looking to start a server (PC), want people to join

I started playing this a couple of weeks ago and am hooked. I'm looking for a couple of people to regularly play with on a new server I will pay for. I live in the eastern time zone and would want people that are interested in playing most nights/weekends (6ish to 10ish pm).

I generally like to build/mine, so to complement this, maybe people that enjoy scouting/looting/mining

Zombie Fall Damage!

We're using mostly unwilling zombies in 7 Days to Die, to experiment with how much damage these deadbeats take from dropping various distances in this guide.

What did I find? Watch to find out! But it's not entirely consistent! There seems to be at least two different damage states of the game! Sometimes it does high damage, sometimes low! Very peculiar!

  • Testing low damage state - 10 meter for 100 damage?
  • Testing high damage state - 20 to 100 meter tests!
  • Dropping zombies on top of other zombies, does it mitigate damage?
  • Dropping zombies on corpses... does it mitigate damage?

Discussion, conclusion, questions abound!

Disable dynamic difficulty balancing?

Im playing with a friend and he dies like every second day....me only a few times. Were on hardest difficulty on day 28 and i cranked up blood moon count to 64 per player but we only get like half what we should because friend dies so much....any way to turn this auto balancing off?

Me and my friend wasted 200 steel bolts and 30 shotgun shells to kill this thing. Then we get rotten flesh... whats the most cost effective way to kill this thing? Its health pool is so damn high, it honestly needs a nerf.

Multiplayer/shared server questions

So just started playing this with my buddy. We started a fresh game and he invited me. Did the whole ally thing, but when he leaves the game I also get disconnected.

1) So does that mean I can only play in that world once he's already in?

2) Can I join into that world alone?

3) if I join another game or start a solo one do I lose all my stuff from that world?

I'm just a little confused in that sense. Thanks. PS4 btw
