Welcome to the latest Monday Megathread, where you the community get to ask your questions and share your knowledge.

This is an opportunity for the more experienced LoL players here to share some of your wisdom with those with less expertise. This thread will be a weekly safehaven for those "noobish" questions you may have been too scared to ask for fear of downvotes, but also can be a great place for in depth discussion if you so wish. So, don't hold back, get your game related questions ready and post away, and hopefully someone can answer them!

As someone who knows all to well what personal tragedies feel like!

I would just like to say that although most people mean well with their wishes and blessings it honestly feels like a constant reminder of the tragedy.

Now by all means send your wishes and prayers for the next couple of days but DO NOT DWELL

Don't make this incident define who he is and DO NOT GIVE HIM CONSTANT REMINDERS OF THE FACT THAT IT HAPPENED !

Fans and friends that meet him know that he will talk about the issue with you when he is good and ready and when/if you meet him don't start the conversation with "I'm so sorry for what happened" etc although you mean well it is a trap that feels inescapable and don't put him through that.

Disenchanting an ultimate skin isn't enough to activate a 1350RP skin. Hextech Crafting truly feels unrewarding.

There's a considerable amount of people stuck with (now unobtainable) ultimate skin shards. I've been sitting on a DJ sona shard for around 6 months and I haven't gotten that much closer to activating her. The worst part is I don't even want DJ sona, but disenchanting her for only 650 orange essence feels even worse than activating it for 2950 essence.

2950 Orange Essence is 11 epic skin shards or 5 ultimate skin shards. This is a huge problem considering how bad it feels to disenchant high cost skins.

Everything feels bad and unrewarding in the current hextech crafting system. You get a champion shard and you think "I could've gotten that in a champion capsule" you get a high cost skin and you have to disenchant 5 other high cost skins if you want to activate one of them.
Only emotes feel like an acceptable reward, and that's only because of how expensive they are. And they get old quickly when you have the emotes you want anyway.

A bunch of people like to say "Hey it's free stuff don't complain" but that's not the problem.
The game itself is free, too, so why don't people go "Hey it's free why do you complain about bugs or balance flaws"?
The answer is, Riot Games isn't a small company, so free or not, they should at least try to give us the best experience, their annual revenue is $2B, you don't buy stuff in a game that you don't enjoy, and you can argue that Hextech Crafting is a part of the game, just like the client or even the friends list, which get improved constantly (That's great by the way!) and that's why there's feedback like what I'm writing at this very moment. It's not useless complaining, it's feedback about what feels good and what feels bad, what's rewarding or not, what people enjoy and what they don't. So please don't use the "It's free stuff" point all the time, it's a lazy way to disregard what could be meaningful feedback
