I've been looking at crash logs tonight and came across this crash:

Mod Request: Automatic tree targeting for artillery

I was writing this comment when I was struck with a horribe and awesome idea.

You know how artillery automatically targets biter nests and worms? That is nice, but what if we could take a step towards lunacy and use artillery to cleanse entire reigons of trees?

Seablock Plastic Production

Hello, I was playing through Seablock and finally reached the stage where I need plastic. I am creating liquid plastic by steam cracking methanol, but when it comes to that I see two alternative options. One is to turn cellulose fiber directly into methanol, the other requires turning the green algae into carbon dioxide, then making it react with a catalyst and hydrogen.

The first option is simpler, but seems to require much more green algae whereas the second option requires more additional materials, but less green algae. What is the recommendation for which path to take? Or is there an even better option for generating liquid plastic than steam cracking methanol?

Request for UPS optimization - Nukes

So, just had a ton of fun with the crazy Redmew challenge map, however, one this was very obvious, every single time someone launched a nuke, the entire game would slow to a crawl for 15-30 seconds while the explosion was being processed.

So, dear devs, if you can find the time, this one would be great to see some loving.

[Question]Any idea why the boiler keeps turning off?

Hi All,

I'm new to Factorio and I'm at the point in the campaign where I need to create a working steam powered electrical system. Unfortunately the boilers keep turning off even though they have enough coal to continue working. Here's a screenshot of the problem. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is there any point of replaying the game?

I just played the demo and was amazed of how amazing the game is,even if it was just the demo.

I'm kind worried if the game has any replayability thought.In the sense of what would be the point of playing it again after you beat it?Im genuinely curious.

Also do most of you peeps play multiplayer or solo?If the game gets better playing online that would be a big plus for me

[Suggestion] Enter key completes number input in requester chest window

Presently, after adjusting the number in a requester chest's filter slot, you have to click somewhere outside the window in order to remove focus from the textbox. You can then press Space to close the window and do something else.

Pressing the Enter key (either of them) should complete the input on that textbox and blur focus away from it, allowing you to click on another filter slot or close the window.

Note: Clicking on the invisible portion of the window beneath the upper-right pane does not count as clicking outside the window for removing focus from the textbox, either! This was confusing until I figured it out.
