From the PTS notes:

New Alchemy Reagents

In your travels along the shores of Summerset you may run across giant clams. These clams, when looted, may yield up to two of the following:

Two new alchemy reagents:

  • Powdered Mother of Pearl
  • Clam Gall

Clam Gall is an offensively oriented reagent, while Powdered Mother of Pearl is more defensively oriented, granting new combinations of survival effects

So, what are their 4 "traits"?

Vet Dungeons

Hi

I've recently levelled my dk tank to level 50, and I'm thinking about doing some vet dungeons. I should mention I am on Xbox 1 EU servers.

I don't have any friends to play with, so I'd like some advice, or just some knowledge as to what I'll be getting myself into to. Is it just a harder version of the original dungeon with better gear? Should I be going in with a set amount of hp/spell & physical damage?

Can you be effective without a rotation?

So uh, I'm definitely in the minority of players here with this problem, but I can't seem to get into the hang of performing spell rotations, especially if they get complicated with light attack weaves. I just like to play the game as it happens - not mash buttons in whatever order is meta. This is actually part of the reason why I uninstalled ESO a few years back whilst having my VR1 magblade.

Obviously I won't be setting any new records for DPS, but is it possible to do okay-ish without strictly following a rotation?

Dueling tips?

First time player, I understand everyone is scaled to around the same stat range, but I just dueled a level 16 NB as a CP 90 NB and got destroyed. Admittedly I've done PvE content thus far, and had on abilities/gear for a dungeon setting, but it still felt like for the 15 seconds I was alive my abilities did no damage and my opponent's just chunked me. What dueling tips do people have? Does it just come down to gear/pvp-centric abilities or are there other factors I'm just not thinking about?

Can I reach endgame and fully enjoy this game without purchasing the expansions/DLC content?

I've played this game on and off many times in the past, constantly starting over because I can never decide on a class. But, that aside I always had a lot of fun.

That being said, I never got very far because I always saw it as impossible for me to reach the true endgame with so much content walled behind all the expansions that I can't exactly afford right now to pay for. I really want to get into the game again but with the gnawing thought in the back of my mind that I'm missing out on so much content sometimes takes away from my enjoyment.

So, to make a long story short, my main question is: is it possible to reach any kind of endgame with purchasing any expansions or DLC? Is the game worth playing without buying them? Thank you in advance to any who can help.

Performance difference between OG XB1 & XB1X

Alright so I have a day one edition Xbox one.. literally got it midnight first day of the Xbox one's release in 2013 and of course I'm a fan of eso BUT, when I play my Xbox either crashes here and there.. I'll load into places and the town or zone won't render or even hold decent frames.. I'll use abilities and they won't even register until 5 seconds later.. extreme slowness really.. I was just wondering if anyone that owns an XB1X and plays eso, do you experience any of these problems? If so how frequent

DPS success story - cracked 20k and then some

Hey all,

I posted about a month ago on how I was having trouble cracking the 15k dps barrier with my stamplar. Thanks for the helpful suggestions I received from this group, I was able to crack 23k dps today on a skeleton parse.

I found the biggest increase came from golding out my weapons and getting the rotation down (alcasts).

Im a cp 450 stamplar right now. My current build is - gold hundigs daggers (nirnhoned - poisoned and infused - weapon damage) and gold hundigs bow (nirnhoned with poison damage potion - still working on that vMA bow).

Armor is all purple with stamina glyphs and divines (hundigs and spriggans). Running medium kraghs as monster set. Have purple spriggans jewelery with weapon damage glyphs.

Running the lover mundus.

Once I get some trial gear and the vMA bow, I hope to get that dps up even more.

Anyways, just wanted to say thanks to the group and for all the helpful advice you all provided. It is a really great community.

Having trouble selecting secondary weapon for my Tank

I recently created a new character which is a DK orc. I went for the obvious weapon choice and chose to use one hand and shield for him. Now that he's lvl 15 I don't know what to use for him, I thought of using a bow but it just doesn't work for a tank. Do I just use another set of one hand and shield? Would appreciate any answer

Need some help regarding questlines

Hey there. I'm fairly new to ESO (playing for about a month now) and just finished the Ebonheart Pact Storyline. Now i'm a bit overwhelmed on where to go next from here. I additionally finished the main questline (Harborage), Coldharbour questline and the Fighters+Mage guild questlines.

I just started the Craglorn quests but i'm not sure if that's a good fit for me since i'm not CP160 yet and lack decent gear.

I could start Cadwells silver since this starts the mainquests for one of the other Alliances, if i understood this correctly in my research. I also have an ESO+ subsscription and could go for DLC content.

I would really appreciate some suggestions since i don't really know what questlines i should focus now that kinda suit my current character state (pretty bad gear, not CP160 yet).

Regional equipment vendor

Do these still exist? I remember a while back I stumbled across one and I thought it was in Bruma, but believe there is one in each town each selling light, medium and heavy sets. Anyway...having gone back to Bruma yesterday I couldn't find the NPC! I found the siege merchant and the town merchant that sells Cyrodiil specific sets. The vendor that I'm looking for sells boxes with random pieces in from the different faction regions. Could anybody tell me exactly where it is located please? I've tried a few searches before posting, apologies if I missed it anywhere.
