Highlights:

  1. 2 new gear systems/ways to progress. Dungeon items can now be directly upgraded while maintaining their tempers/gems/frosts. New open world pve drop weapons that are obtained from monsters in auroria that also have their own unique form of progression. Honor points are also important in these systems.

  2. New monsters in auroria which drop the stuff for the second gear system which will have an important over arching story/lore added in 1-2 months

  3. Weapon/armor re balance to provide more varied play styles, introducing concepts like 'equip a dagger, skills are faster'

  4. Armor rating effect. Not really clear what this is. Either they are making it so your lowest tier of gear no longer pushes your bonus down or they are giving bonuses to lower grades of gear.

  5. Fixed farming. The system now rubber bands your bundles and other planted stuff so you never have trouble making stuff fit on your farms. Also increasing the yeilds and adding secondary mat procts to bundles so they become relevant again.

  6. kr fresh gets delphinad unlocked.

  7. xlgames promises to try and get a more big patches like this out in june and july so the updates keep coming.

Storage Silo Local Resident?q

As the title says, if you don't have a house, does the Storage Silo count as a Resident building in the area that you place it? Meaning that you can craft resident packs in the area that it is placed?

Would like to know since we are running out of room in our area and guild members want houses and we don't want to sacrifice farmland for more 16x16 houses.

hey, I have a question regarding Phase 2 , Since i only played on the beta days and then quit, i wanna know what do i need to Prepare for Phase 2? what should i have? i heard Charcoal n some stuff but i dunno, im already GHA Gear GBC Great axe 2.6k gearscore but i just wanna know what i should be Getting for Phase 2 so i dont fall behind.

EDIT: also as an Executioner when epherium gear comes out, Do i go leather or plate? right now im GHA plate but yea. Thanks.

Progression Server Dwarf and Warborn/Lvl 55 Phase?

Curious if anyone here following the Korean Progression servers knows if/when they will get/got Dwarf and Warborn + when the level gets uncapped to 55? I heard they are getting the delph phase here shortly. Really wanted a Dwarf in the FS and debating whether its worth waiting or setting up a main and making money while waiting. I guess how closer/further away these races are will determine my decision.

As title states. Seeking advice about BR+Archery combo (i mean, BR+Arch+ anything can be suggested if it's an improvement over Outrider), going as hybrid as possible. I'm not dropping either (and if it was the case I'd be dropping BOTH, it's either both together on none of them).

Main points I'm looking for help are gear focus and, to a lesser extent, skill build (as I have already some plans for it).

Archeage custom music

Hello, I've tried making custom music on archeage however the 3MLE program for AA didn't work as I've planned. The music sounded different from the editor. So I tried to download the normal 3MLE application, as I would also need it for other games and music composition for classes, from 3ML.jp/download.html but I can't open it. Does anybody have the zip file that can share it? Thanks for your help

Are Ebonsongs (and archers in general) switching to something else when phase 2 happens?

I've heard talk that a lot of archers are switching (mostly to mage) when phase 2 comes out. Is there any validity to this? If so why? Is archer viable moving forward?

Is this game worth getting into?

I read a review from like 2 years ago and it sounded fun, the subreddit from a cursory glance makes it seem like a hellhole of a game. Is this standard complaining or is this game actually awful? I don't feel like downloading

Healer gearing in phase 2

It pisses me off how all these other games have great teams behind them and ArcheAge is just shit. We honestly deserve a better, more committed ArcheAge team. Muzzy barely knows how to play ArcheAge yet he is the "Community Manager" that's ridiculous. I am sick of seeing him troll on twitch while the game dies. Stringing the community on with live streams that never happen. I mean theres just so much more that can be done and it really is a shame that this is the team we have to deal with.

Starting with two friends. What classes should we play?

Two friends and I are going to start playing this game fairly soon and would like to know what classes we should roll. We don't know too much other than the fact that there is a mix-and-match class system in this game, and that you can become a pirate. We want to become pirates. As for the classes we would like to play, I usually enjoy the melee up in your face dps characters. My first friend usually gravitates towards the priesty magey supporty classes. My other friend is pretty much a wildcard. He said he would fill for us so maybe something that complements the other two would be nice. Maybe with the few option for him.

Curious to see what you all think :) also maybe some info on the pirate aspect of the game would be nice xD

When you do make them, where do you have to turn them in? I'm a new player, been 50 for about a week now. Is there a good guide on the trade pack system?

Server Select - Gods have Disconnected You

My friend is attempting to play the FS with me and every time he tries to connect to the server it disconnects him, he has tried port forwarding, disabling his firewall and multiple attempts to connect and no success He has even gone as far as reinstalling multiple times. Has anyone had this issue or know a solution?

When should i craft a weapon ?

Hello,

I'm new at the game and on FS server, I've make some gold from farming.

I done some GHA to get a bit of stuff, I didn't get any really good weapons (except the bow, but I'm melee), and I was wondering if I should craft a sword and a shield, or should I wait latter expansion cause it's a waste of money.
