| Posted: 28 Apr 2018 08:58 AM PDT After a few months of not playing Destiny 2, I bought the DLC pass, and have been running through the infinite forest. My entire time running through it, I thought that it was a really cool concept, but that it could be used for something truly awesome. I think it could be a really fun activity if the game were to implement something similar to what Diablo 3 has with their Greater Rift system. The infinite forest is already a perfect platform for a place where you go in and get a different "floor" each time you go in. It could be set it up so that you go in with a timer, and clear different/random "floors" with random sets of enemies each time, and a boss at the end. This is of course given that the loot system gets adjusted so an activity like this would be worth the time spent grinding, but it could make for some really good replay-ability, and even have a competitive aspect with a leaderboard of tiers/times. There could be strike specific loot, different modifiers, etc. I'm not suggesting to simply copy blizzard's exact formula, of course (I'm sure Bungie would do a good job of making it unique to Destiny), but as someone who misses enjoying Destiny, I think that this could honestly be an interesting addition to the game. | Posted: 28 Apr 2018 09:29 AM PDT So I've been thinking. Every season starts with a DLC. And Bungie has started to talk about seasonal rewards (as if there'll be many more down the line). But after S3 there's the fall expansion (S4) and possibly another one (S5). After that is presumably D3. So, not that many seasons to go. I wonder what you guys think about this. If we are getting one Crucible exclusive weapon per season, that means only a total of 3 exlcusive weapons until D2 rotates out. Similarly, seasonal vendor progression will go thru ~3 cycles. Not a lot. Perhaps they'll find a way to shorten and standardize season lengths. This doesn't mean I'm not excited for the seasonal stuff. I'm just curious how many cycles we'll get in the end. Got a group in 5 minutes. I think the biggest problem with this game is mic is pretty much required for end game. This push away lots of none English speaker. [link] [comments]  | ||

I have a group that are always on during these hours. We're just seeking out more active players so we don't have to pug stuff so often. We have done pretty much everything in the game including trials, we are very active in the PVP community. As far as raids were all experienced enough to do any positions required. We're laid back bunch just looking for more people to get shit done with. We joke a lot but still steam roll whatever our objective is. Posted: 27 Apr 2018 05:22 PM PDT For me the ONE thing that would make D2 more enjoyable is an option to mute the incessant background chatter of the vendors. It's so freaking annoying hearing the same repetitive 5-6 lines over and over again while I'm trying to dust endless stacks of shaders or inspecting my new gear.
