| Posted: 03 Apr 2018 08:34 AM PDT There are plenty of data sets and information from players showing that TTK is around 1.5 to 2 seconds and <1 second (auto rifles) if you're a headshot master. I keep hearing how games like COD have faster TTK, how quick do you need it to be? I suck, I'm old and have horrible hand/eye coordination and I still manage to get <2 second TTK 1v1 from time to time. I've recorded matches and played encounters back frame by frame. I miss shots... like TONS of shots and when I do, there's a longer TTK. In encounters where, for whatever reason, most of my shots are dead on target, even I can melt down another player. If TTK gets much lower we're approaching near instant kills. I was following a gamer who repeatedly bashes D2 and recently complained that after Go Fast, TTK is still an issue because after a fight and with low health, they can't kill an enemy who has full health. They didn't understand that if TTK is lowered, that isn't likely to make that encounter any different unless the full health player is really bad, like me. I also think that many complaining about TTK, don't realize how often they're getting shot by opponents out of their range of vision. People get tunnel vision when focusing on one target and since D2 highlights and gives credit for your death to the player that gets the final shot, many may not think about how often that 1v1 was actually 2+v1 and why that is why it seems it took "too long" to get their target's health down. | Duplicate exotics should return Masterworks Cores Posted: 03 Apr 2018 10:03 AM PDT As the title says. I just received my umpteenth Aeon Swift. I'm tired of dismantling exotics from the weekly activities and feeling like I'm getting nothing out of it. Like all of you, we invest a good amount of time to get the weekly powerful and exotic engrams. I'm not feeling like dismantling exotics is worth it. I've saved most of them for later infusions, but my Vault is full of duplicates. Please Bungie: Can you make a system where we can dismantle Exotics into Masterwork cores? It doesn't even have to be a direct 1:1. Maybe make an additional cost, like rare resources. [link] [comments]  | ||

| How can we improve the Ward of Dawn? Posted: 03 Apr 2018 09:59 AM PDT I love coming to this subreddit because of how much more constructive the comments are and so I thought I would ask this question. With the new patch I started using my Sentinel Titan more since it got a speed buff and it got me thinking about the Ward of Dawn perk in the top tree. What are some suggestions that people have on improving the viability of that perk because it seems like it is rarely used in both pvp and pve. I haven't fully thought this through but one thought I had was to make it attach to the titan and move with him wherever he goes and give it the same defense buff but I would like to hear other people's suggestions on this. | Posted: 02 Apr 2018 11:22 PM PDT Due to the lack of content, my raid buddies decided to run raids with a twist.. basically we were bored as hell and started making up random raid strats to add some change to the weekly raid completion.. This week: Ragtag Raiders Conditions: as two teams of three, cruise around EDZ doing public events and rack up a full set of blue gear (including weapons). You have to use the first piece of blue gear you receive for a slot, this includes weapons also. Power level should be adequate to meet the min raid requirement. Once done, form a raid team and take on Calus/Argos. If game, do the Prestige (however for Prestige, you are allowed 1 piece of exotic gear for this, mainly for the power level boost) Post your "results" Good luck.
