Seriously, if you got tokens, spend em. If you have cores upgrade your stuff. Spend those stockpiles. The climb is more fun then the summit.

To quote the Cracked video on Destiny "So let me get this straight, you turned your game into a chore so you can play your game less?"

Don't fall into that trap. Dont try to each all the marshmallows and then complain the rest the serial got soggy, enjoy it as it comes, let those rewards and powerups get sprinkled in.

A month ago, I downloaded Discord to communicate with a Raid Sherpa who graciously offered to help me and a friend through the Leviathan. I had been playing since a month or so after release, but I only had two friends who played with me regularly. We weren't big enough to run the raids or attempt Trials.

The first raid went quite well, so I decided to check out the D2 Discord and saw the looking for group channels. I've since run Leviathan a few times and the Raid Lair. I put together a group of randoms to play Trials and we won a match, so I finally got to see the the Third Spire.

Nightfall has a lot of people chasing new gear, so you can usually hook up with someone who has done them so many times that they can practically run them asleep. If you suck, you can watch someone effortlessly float through as they go after a sparrow they'll never equip and learn something.

I have been running with a group who are collectively better than average and I don't even know their names. That's a Ron Swanson kind of friendship. So if you're solo, and you don't mind playing with randos, you have options.

Pardon my ignorance, but why did they design the health bars the way it is? When you look at other players, you see a white bar and a red bar. But for your own health, you only see one bar. When you see an enemy with just the red bar, is it the same as being critical health (only red bar on your own screen)? Why not just make them both one bar or something?

I feel like this may contribute to the feeling of TTK being too high, since it seems like your shots aren't doing much when they are at full health (white bar), but when they are at red health, it seems to drop right away.

Upgrade armor to masterwork or wait for after dlc?

Just jumped back into the game after a "longer" break. But I dont know if I should upgrade my armor to masterwork now or wait. I guess it stays the same, that current armor can be infused to higher level. So still go with the "best looking"? And also, masterwork armor is able to get "rerolles" on the res/rec/mob stats? So if I have an armor with 2mob+2res, I could get an armor with 1mob+1rec+2res instead? I guess we will get new weapons in the dlc, so upgrade weapon maybe wait, see if there will be any better weapon/rolls combinations?

I really am. I was hoping to at least see a bit of it in any game play trailer. I'm sure they're keeping it a secret. But man, I was really hoping the game would release with Arc, and the first two DLCs would introduce Solar & Void.

I couldn't even imagine what it's perks would do? I don't know. I'm just a huge fan of these Trace Rifles. And I have my expectations set on seeing the void one in this DLC.

I just pre-ordered the new expansion. Can't wait for it to come out. I beat the main game and the first expansion a long time ago so it's been a while since I've played the game. Glad that a new expansion is coming tho. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be playing the game again cause I don't care for the crucible. If the crucible had a level system and a way to level up your guns and stuff like cod than I would play it more than I did. Anyway, I hope this new expansion was just as good as the first one and I hope it's a little bit longer since it took longer to come out. I thought the first expansion had a good length but I feel like the 2nd expansion should be longer cause I kind of beat the first expansion a little too fast. But even if I beta this one fast too it's whatever, I just hope I like it, I'm sure I will.

I've heard people say that 0,5% of the community will be able to get it and I've heard percentages as high as 40%. Can someone explain how hard it will most likely be to get the gun and what percentage will probably get it. Thanks in advance

Nightstalker change

Nightstalker has one fatal flaw in the Crucible. Your ability takes too long. Between hitting the button, shooting your arrow, letting it travel, and the gap between impact and your tethers activating, its too big of a window for your opponent that other classes/subclasses simply don't have.

I think Nightstalker should have less travel time on shadowshot and that tethers should activate as soon as they impact, with no delay.

Playing mayhem it's infuriating how many times I got killed by Hammer of Sol between the time my shot impacted and the tethers hit.

Exotic Rocket Launchers?

Theory on the Hive trapped under the ice

So clearly the Worm God Xol, Hive Prince Noriks, and a large army of Hive are not things you can just hide or kill very quickly. We don't know what specifically happened before or after the Collapse but we do know the Traveler terreformed planets/moons in the Golden Age. I don't think that's an ability Rasputin or even the Hive have. Only the Vex have been shown to terraform on planet wide scales though it appears to be a slow process. I can only assume that the Traveler does so faster. What if the Traveler froze the Hive on Mars when it expanded Mars's ice caps as it made Mars a more habitable place? Living things can only be trapped in ice when it moves very quickly (glaciers, floods, tides) and certainly it seems feasible that the Traveler did so with such ferocity that not even a teleporting Tomb Ship could escape the expanding ice caps (Tomb ships were shown trapped in ice in the Warmind prelude). It seems only a being with the immense strength and power of the Traveler could trap something like a Worm God in ice...

Console/PC guardian lore goof

On the Nessus excavation strike Zavala will sometimes say "a full battalion? What is that to you who have slain gods in the heart of the black garden"

That's fine if you ported over on console from D1, but on pc the guardian is so new that we don't know about the taken or Oryx therefore we couldn't know about the black garden since it happened prior to Oryx.
