| Posted: 03 Apr 2018 03:28 AM PDT Correct me if Im wrong but from what I've been reading here you cant plant farms till 48 hours after the server opens, It opens on a thursday, I think much people like me work, Friday as well, with the queue problems there will be, It will be imposible to hit 50 in those 2 days and you dont get the 16x16 scarecrow with new quest till 50... Is XL just lazy with the latest FS PTS update with 3 days left to go before 4.5 launches? https://clips.twitch.tv/SparklingBitterWater4Head "those are gone" -Khrolan Myself and many others were looking forward to a Fresh Start server where these would not exist. I wanted to be able to explore the wilderness of Falcorth or Rookborne searching for hidden tree farms like I did back in 2014 at launch, it was good for many reasons, pvp, exploration and forming social bonds(or making enemies). Having Rumbling Saplings in the vocation shop really kills the incentive for families and guilds to build a tree farm because all they have to do is get a small plot of land and wait 8-10 days until they have earned their 15k vocation to dance around a farm for an hour and hope lightning strikes. | Posted: 03 Apr 2018 02:03 AM PDT So as many many players here I started Archeage back in alpha (didnt start playing till beta on my own account) and bought the silver founders pack. it was one of my favorite MMO experiences out there for the first few months. ignoring the obvious queue time issues and farm land issues etc, it was awesom. then they slowly started adding in p2w items, like that thunderstruck tree thingy which I spend an eternity trying to get (been years, cant remember what it was for). so I quit. and found out after I quit it only got worse with p2w items. I have now paid the 10 euro thingy for name reservation on the fresh start servers and I am ready to give this game a second chance. before I get to excited and invest to much time into it though. hows the cash shop in 2018? is it still p2w? Auramancy is certainly a very bad skillset and DR can no longer rely on most of the combos and get the target tripped easily as before. I tryed every single way to do it with all the 3 skills that inflict freeze debuff, but none of the combos did the 8 sec freeze. | Archeage 4.5 Fresh Start Launch Schedule Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:53 PM PDT 4/5 4:00pm PDT - A few hundred players get in and level up quickly and begin gearing, those who don't are stuck in queue for a few hours. 4/5 6:00pm PDT - Servers are taken down. Community calls for a mass rollback to remedy it and does not get a response. 4/6 3:00pm PDT - Launch 2.0, servers are back up. First few hundred people in grab all of the best land now that the land lock is over and attempt to level under horrible server conditions. Those who don't get in are stuck in 4 hour queues that they are disconnected from in the low hundreds. 4/6 5:00pm PDT - Servers taken down a second time, brief message from Trion about improving the servers. 4/7 2:00pm PDT - Servers online, the issues are exactly the same and there is no improvement. The subreddit and forums contain only spam about how bad the servers are. 4/7 8:00pm PDT - Servers taken down again, brief message about how hard the team is working. 4/8 12:00pm PDT - REAL LAUNCH - Servers are back up and horrible, lag is incredible and the queue is shorter, but only because a large amount of players gave up and quit before ever entering the server. 4/8 6:00pm PDT - Servers taken down again at the exact time the bars open up. 4/9 12:00pm PDT- Still laggy and horrible, Trion decides to just wait until most people quit and pretend they fixed the servers afterward.
