Zenimax, can I please put my bucket on my head?

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 05:54 PM PDT

I bought the Bucket and Broom that were available in the Crown Store last year, thinking to myself, 'Surely someday we will have transmog and I will be glad I did this.'

Well, we've got transmog. I've got the Bucket and Broom sitting in my bank. Why can't I use them? I know they were mostly a gag, but come on.

eso wallpapers 1920x1080 download

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 06:25 PM PDT

imgur album (1920x1080 only): https://imgur.com/a/iNF99

source: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/media/category/wallpapers

simply scroll to the bottom of the album, click the "..." next to the right of the social media buttons, and click "download post"

i went through and manually downloaded all the Elder Scrolls Online wallpaper images available in 1920x1080 resolution and converted them from jpg to png to make them available for high quality bulk download from imgur (imgur likes to compress jpgs by default, apparently)

enjoy this beautiful work from Zenimax. cheers

LPT: use a staff as a flare gun if you need help.

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 09:46 AM PDT

Never thought it would work but needed help with a boss and thought I would try to shoot my staff in the sky like a flare gun and actually had 4 other people come run over and help me.

Dragonknight Main Tank Build for vAS+2 Hard Mode

Don't Turn in Dailys on the 3rd.

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 12:41 PM PDT

The anniversary kicks off on the 4th and will offer additional rewards from daily quests. If this is anything like the master writ release, you can do the daily on the 3rd, turn it in on the 4th, and still do the quest from the 4th which effectively doubles your rewards for day one. I don't see any reason not to give it a shot, happy hunting.

Can we just take a second to appreciate the sheer beauty of this game?

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:39 PM PDT

I would love to see ZOS add an owl for a pet.

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:18 AM PDT

Owls are my favorite animal, and I would love to have one follow me around in game. I think it would match my mage aesthetic pretty well. I'm surprised It's not already in game.

Is it just me, or are all the houses prohibitively expensive?

New player question

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 02:35 AM PDT

Hello, I'm thinking of buying ESO and I want to know if my favorite skyrim build is viable. I used a light armor warrior with a sword and a shield and I used my points to increase stamina and HP, at about a 3:2 rate.

Templar vampire magicka tank build

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 10:01 PM PDT

I'm returning after a long break. (Like a few years) I have a lvl 38 Breton Templar Vampire who I am trying to a tank build with. It is currently not going very well. Are there any suggestions? Or tips? I'm not good at builds or figuring out which skill to due yet. Nor have I quite tackled the attribute distribution. Any general tips would be greatly welcomed as well. Explain how to build lol.

[PS4] So many different version to buy, which one should I get?

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 01:19 AM PDT

So I want to try ESO, but I'm not too sure whether I will like it or not. (big fan of elder scrolls games, big fan of dark souls games, first try at a real MMO). But which version should I get? There is Tamriel Unlimited, Morrowind, Summerset pre-order, ESO gold edition, Tamriel unlimited Crown edition etc.

What is your advice for a guy who wants to try this game?

Imperial city clarification

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 04:57 PM PDT

Is the imperial city dlc a pvp area only or is there any pve story line to it? I can't find a solid answer for that.

Thanks.

Dungeons for low levels

Posted: 03 Apr 2018 12:49 AM PDT

I've never been too keen on mmo's. I loved Oblivion and Skyrim when they came out due to their lore. It was such a pleasure to simply immerse with the world's and be a khajiit for a few hours a day.
Now, I bought ESO some time ago and have sunk a few hours in. My mate told me it's still a Bethesda rpg and I'd get a ton out of it by myself, even when it's designed to be an mmorpg. That statement holds and it's been wonderful traveling around Tamriel once again, sneaking around, stabbing necromancers, reviving good characters and so on.
Delves have been fun and some solo dungeons have been alright. I passed level 20 and I think I unlocked a dungeon by doing so. That made me wonder would they be worth my time, lore- or gearwise or should I simply wait until I reach level 50 before trying them out? Would I get bundled with people around my level or are the dungeons scaled like the environments are? Is the loot from dungeons around my current level worth keeping for later levels or how does the thing go? How long does it take to complete a dungeon?
Tl dr; New-ish player to mmo's, pondering the worth of dungeons.

What is the best way to ‘tackle’ this game solo?

Posted: 02 Apr 2018 07:38 PM PDT

I pretty much solely play alone, and due to me not knowing exactly what the best way for me to do things is I usually end up losing the motivation to play. I want that to stop as I really enjoy playing.

I pretty much want to play solo, aside from finding groups for dungeons etc of course. However, now I'm reaching end game I'm realising I need to somehow get loads of food and loads of potions etc. My current guy has pretty much been levelled fully into blacksmithing, clothing and woodworking and so idk if i even can use anything else without taking away from my combat skills. Pair that with the fact that I never seem to be able to complete pledges due to never finding a group (Xbox, EU) and it makes the game kind of daunting and feels like an almost impossible task, for lack of a better way to explain it.

Does anyone have any advice? Every few months I start playing again before losing motivation as everything you need to have prepared at end game seems so daunting.
