High Impact

  • Players not receiving the Ash Sidewinder Elite - Fix in progress

  • Damascus Steel skin not showing up in inventory - Fix in progress

  • Outbreak Packs appear to be missing for some players. If you are impacted, please check your Outbreak Collections tab to ensure that your Outbreak Pack items have not already been unlocked. - We are investigating

  • Some players are not receiving 4 free Outbreak packs - We are investigating

  • Outbreak crashes when launching - Please right click R6S in Uplay and hit 'Verify Files'

  • Game crashing when clicking the Collections tab - Fix in progress

  • VIP Discount not occurring - FIXED

  • Starter Edition owners not able to purchase Legacy Operators FIXED

Operation Chimera

  • There is a delay when Buck switches between Skeleton Key and Primary Weapon.

Outbreak

  • Players are unable to use VOIP in some situations.

  • Thermite's voice lines cut out during the intro cinematic on Junkyard A.

  • Game audio continues during the "death" cinematic.

  • In some situations, the squad leader does not follow the party when starting a session.

  • If a player leaves the mission during a transition from part A to part B, shaders will not load.

  • Universal Icon is present on the description of the Retro Steel and Outbreak Code Red Seasonal weapon skins when presented on the "Unseen Items" pop-up that you receive when your Outbreak Pack opening is interrupted. Both of these weapon skins are Seasonal, and only available for Operators that are in the game at the time of Operation Chimera's launch.

Performance Optimization

We have fixed a feature calling relief mapping, which is only active when the Shading Quality is set to high. For players that are currently experiencing significant FPS loss following this latest update, please check to ensure that Shading Quality is set to Medium. This will disable relief mapping, and increase performance.

We are working on optimizing the relief mapping for a future patch

Operation Chimera and Outbreak - Day 1 Recap

Day 1 of Operation Chimera and Outbreak is coming to a close, and we have encountered a few issues that are having a direct impact on you and we wanted to talk with you about those. This list is not exhaustive, but includes some of the bigger issues that our community is experiencing.

Not Receiving 4 Free Outbreak Packs

Delivery of the free Outbreak Packs was interrupted by the outage we had earlier. We will be running a script to grant these free Outbreak Packs to all players that did not receive them. This script will be deployed tomorrow, once the servers have stabilized. For those of you who have gone ahead and purchased 50 Outbreak Packs, you will be granted 1200 R6 Credits in lieu 4 Outbreak Packs.

Ash Sidewinder Elite Skin

Players that qualified for the free Ash Sidewinder Elite we're supposed to receive this Elite set today. Unfortunately, we ran into a deployment issue for this, and were not able to deliver it to you. In order to lessen the confusion, we also removed the Sidewinder Elite from the store. We have been working on a batch grant to deliver this skin to you, and we are aiming to have this delivered to you this week. No data has been lost, and everyone that qualified for it will receive it.

Outbreak Collection Tab

A few players are receiving a game crash when they select the Outbreak Collection tab. We are working on a fix, but do not have an ETA. For those of you impacted, this does not affect Outbreak Packs, or the items themselves. You can still equip any Outbreak Collection items from the Operator menu.

Damascus Steel Weapon Skin

Those of you who purchased the Year 3 Pass prior to March 6th are eligible for the Damascus Steel Weapon Skin. If you have not received the Damascus Steel Weapon Skin, and you are eligible, please submit a copy of your proof of purchase to the Ubisoft Customer Support team here.

Outbreak Packs "Disappearing"

Some players have seen that, after looting an Outbreak Pack, they return to the inventory screen and it seems as if some Outbreak Packs are missing. For those of you impacted, you have not lost your items. If you check the Outbreak Collection tab, you will see the items that were in those Outbreak Packs there. If you are missing both an Outbreak Pack and an additional Outbreak Collection item, please contact the Ubisoft Customer Support team here.

Disconnections

We are aware that some of you are experiencing intermittent disconnections. Our team is working on ironing out some stability kinks, and will continue to work on these throughout the night.

Standard Edition (and up) Legacy Operators

Some players that own the Standard, Advanced, Gold, and Complete Edition are not receiving the legacy Operators as intended. We will be running a fix on our data base tomorrow to correct the issue.

R6 Credits

We are seeing reports of players that are not receiving their R6 Credits after purchasing. This is likely tied to the instability that our back end shop has been experiencing these last 8 hours. Once that stabilizes, your credits should be provided.
