| Gun Goddess MF shouldn't be Ultimate and here is viable gifs proofs i recorded to show you. Posted: 06 Mar 2018 01:40 PM PST I had a rant today after i saw the first images of GGMF where many people agreed that the models look too similar. Where i started to actually believe is when The_Cactopus implies that we will change faces when we see the animations and vfx. Well i saw the actualy footage from the teasers and i must say, i disagree and here i am to show you proof of why. Let's start with something really really simple from the footage video (this one, exlusively, because it's obvious, will be static) : Could it be? A change of color!? Ok hold on maybe the animations are actually decent right? Well... see for yourself : Idle animations comparison, MF vs GGMF. Ok you might wonder why i'm making a big deal out of this. It's a way too similar hip's MF standard animation even if some frames and polish were added. Just look at Udyr and Lux for exemples in gifs too : Here is Udyr vs SG Udyr (+ Udyr has a different idle for each stance + base). I don't need to pull out Sona & Ez too because it's the same thing : the differences are insane. They feel like totally different characters and that's how it should be. Meanwhile MF is just...herself with a suit, and that shouldn't be ultimate. That was the idle, let's check the : The girly pose outside, this is basically the same upward move. It's again way too similar where other ultimate skins AGAIN change their stances completely and i mean to a whole different level. Here is Lux comparison for instance. Same thing goes for Udyr, Ez and Sona of course. You see my point ? Let's recap :
So yea, my solution? Add a new tier or boost this skin up, because clearly this is lackluster in every possible way. Also, i'm tired of everyone just overlooking the fact that Riot has a policy saying 3250 RP Ultimate skins with added bonuses (icons, borders) but here the skin costs 2750 RP and the icons borders 750 IN A FORCED bundle that costs 3500 RP, which litteraly destroys the said policy. ALSO for further notice, we know now that the models have same particle effects with recolors. The models tho change slightly just with the weapon, seems familiar? Here are the chromas for Surprise Party Amumu. Surprise Party Amumu has more model changes including his shirt, baloon and head than GGMF has (ok this might be overexagerating but you get my point). TL;DR : To me, GGMF looks like a legendary skin with forced chromas onto it ingame. It's pricing breaks the guide and pricing policies Riot made and is lackluster in both quality and content. They are trying to sell the "it's lower price" but cutting off the bonus content (icons and stuff) to add it to a bundle more expensive than the regular 3250 price. Always remember, it used to be limited but free Small edit : if anyone is interested, they uploaded the interactions for the skin and it seems she has barely any different voiceline for her different exosuits, other than when changing in base and auto attacking Small edit 2 : PBE is up and i'm testing the skin for further details, i will keep to my work thouroughly as i want Riot to make a positive move. Things to keep in mind for this is a Ultimate : if this skin doesn't get an animated splash and portrait changes ingame for forms, you're getting scammed. Big Edit 1 : Ok guys i just tested the skin on the PBE and i encourage you to check asap the skin video on youtube and make your mind...animations and particles are roughly the same for each model and the portrait doesn't change to match her hair color. The particles, while all mostly the same, are barely visible imo and too light. It really doesn't feel good as it did back then for other Ultimates, but it does feel great as a boosted legendary in mind. Here is an image i made to show you the differences, you can make up your mind from this too Ultimate changes slightly the bullets but does change the way she shoots it, only the ultimate sadly. Rest is too light on VFX or way too similar. My opinion? If all the skills and idles had the same treatment the ultimate did quality wise, i would consider calling this fair. I remember having to choose way back in the day if I wanted to go more damage or CDR (back in like S2/3) but now it seems like you get to 40%+ without trying (excluding ADC). side note: I'm not saying if its overpowered or not, just that it seems to be everywhere. There will also be the same probability of getting a low price skin than an Ultimate one, so if you're lucky enough you can get it with Hextech Chests. Prices after change Nami: 6300 to 4800 Dr Mundo: 1350 to 450 So, if you have either of those shards and don't want them, disenchant them now or if you want to unlock them, wait until their BE prices drop for a bigger discount.
