I recently played through it and man this story is deep, Halo 2 is essentially a game about the effect an ideology can have on otherwise perfectly reasonable and rational individuals, it's a game that takes a unique approach to analyze religious fanaticism. It revolves around the idea that there is no inherent difference between you and your enemies, that both of you have been subject to your own culture and belief system and that is what has led you to become the person you are. This is made very apparent in the parallels between the chief and the Arbiter, two individuals that have so much in common but at the same are so different because of where they come from.

It's interesting that this game came out only 3 years after 9/11 and it seems to have a lot to say about the war on terror.

I understand Halo: CE having a limitation on some of them, but in particular having the extra physics skulls (especially the melee one in H2A Campaign), I wish so much we had those in Halo 3, ODST and Halo 4.

The campaigns are fun to go through, but variety is always much appreciated. Having the extra wackiness of seeing a grunt die and panicking because the explosion could reach you 10 feet away still is hilariously terrifying. I love that you can launch yourself so far in Halo 2 that you can keep up with Pelicans in their speed (before you die because you've been in the air for so long).

One prime example is this launch I did on Metropolis on Halo 2's campaign. You can fly just incredibly far, and it made me actually do another full runthrough of a campaign I've run dozens of times just because it was new and refreshing.

I understand implementing skulls is a difficult thing to do, as there's bugs that can arise with it. I remain hopeful that someday another Halo title will receive these fantastic skulls!

Harsher Consequences

Please 343, for the love of all that is holy, please implement harsher consequences for players who leave matches in arena mid-round. Right now, it feels as though half your team leaves if something doesn't go their way. A temporary 10 minute ban (and above) is just not enough for some of these people obviously, (since its just rampant).

I wouldn't be surprised if this has been discussed already, but I theorize that the problems stems from the fact that some of the more casual players aren't aware of the pre-existing measures put against them for doing this, so they do it none the less. My solution to this is to put a ten minute ban into affect as soon as they leave even a single match, OR give them a solid warning telling them that if they abandon their team again, they will suffer a temporary ban.

With this currently going on, the flow of matches is ruined and the experience really becomes frustrating for those of us who aren't scumfuck bastards constantly abandoning their team. 343 pls

I need help with downloading Project Cartographer.

So I try to install Full Game Installer + Mod and I can install it fully, but when I try to extract the folder, my computer just says that the compressed file is invalid/i need to copy files into the folder first.

I don't really understand what I can do, can anyone help? Very appreciated, thanks.
