Hey BHVR, thanks for pretending XBOX doesn't exist and completely fucking us over. Posted: 05 Mar 2018 08:48 PM PST EDIT: If you want to help, please help me get this question more visible on the Dev stream. Just drop a comment on it or a quick upvote!I can't believe that not only did BHVR completely ignore all the ridiculous issues that XBOX had, but they're just going to let their game die on console, despite the sizable player-base they have access to. For anyone who's missed out or wasn't aware of the issues on XBOX, they were as follows:
After all of this, BHVR is acting like there are minor issues, like their game isn't losing players in droves on console, like their entire console playerbase doesn't even exist. I've played a lot of games before, but I don't think I've ever seen a developer as negligent as BHVR. And transparency my ass. What's the point of all of these Q&A's when all we get are vague, shitty, smart ass answers? EDIT: Lol, they tagged this as Lunar Salt. Really? [link] [comments]

I noticed people like Myers and The Pig, they both have no heartbeat! Posted: 06 Mar 2018 06:40 AM PST I see alot of people liking both of them, the thing they have in common is surprise potential. I think the key is people actually being surprised by killers that freak them out. Not knowing where the killer is makes it more stressful to play. [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Mar 2018 06:51 AM PST If you play a licensed character, do you love going against your licensed counterpart? Maybe it's because I'm a horror junkie, but I always get pumped when I'm playing Laurie and vs.'ing a Myers, or if I'm playing the Pig and a Tapp loads in. Same thing with when I play Freddy and a Quentin loads in. Not really any point to this thread, just a fun little conversation to see if anyone else is as much of a horror junkie as I am. :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Mar 2018 09:12 AM PST Last night I was watching TydeTyme and during the end of the DBD portion of the stream as the group was saying good night to each other they promptly talked about some stats they have acquired out of 80 games. I don't usually watch him, and I didn't watch that entire stream so I might be missing some info. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/235702320 - They start talking at around 3:11:40 and lasts around 2-3 minutes. These statics are based out of 80 games all 4 man SWF (I don't think TydeTyme was in charge or doing these stats someone else has been keeping track and he's just proving another body/player to facilitate the stats. Don't want to be giving credit when it's not actually him).
Out of those 80 games Killers
Survivors
Tl;DR SWF is OP if played in the right hands. Out of 80 test games, a group of 4 man SWF played with rigorous conditions (no perks, add-on's or items) and still managed to shit on killers 87.5% of the games. Use Comms, do gens, loop, play smart and killers will not stand a chance based on the stats. [link] [comments]
New Patch - Version 1.9.3.1 - Minor QoL changes Posted: 06 Mar 2018 08:46 AM PST Patch notes taken from PS4's "Update History":
Patch size was roughly 123 mb on PS4. [link] [comments]
Today, I equipped Save the Best for Last with my regular meta loadouts at rank 1. Posted: 06 Mar 2018 04:48 AM PST I decided today I felt like playing some good ol' Mikey. I looked through my loadout, all P3'ed and looking pretty good, all except for my lack of Enduring. I looked at all my perks and read to see what might be good to mess around with. I look at STBFL and went fuck it, maybe it's not that bad and I can get some use out of it. Jeesus Christ, I really like this perk. As survivors tend to loop you anyways, I thought, maybe this can help in the long run, as I'll have to chase them anyway for 20+ seconds before I can snag a hit.
After a few hours of using it and then a game or two later with it as well, I'm convinced that not only is it a strong perk hidden by bad numbers, but also it could very well become a decent meta pick with all the looping that occurs. I would say it needs two small buffs that helps it significantly:
These changes, in my opinion, aren't unfair for survivors playing against it, yet buff the perk to a more usable state. The shortened required chase time means the perk will activate earlier during chases, making mistakes more punishing than they currently are due to the killer being closer faster due to the perk. It seems to long if you try to use it as much as possible, so a small reduction to 10-15 seconds would make it more accessible but not machine gun powerful. The second change extends the period where loses the perk due to the chase being lost. Every time I've lost the chase, it's due to loop I have to break and when I continue the chase, I can physically see my target, but the game won't register a chase from the distance. 10 seconds (or maybe a bit more) will allow chases to keep up, gaining usage from the perk, without cheating the killer out of his bonus due to dodgy mechanics. Overall, I really enjoy this perk, but it needs a slight number change to be more useful again, as it shouldn't be seen as the wasted version of it's former self, but now a punishing tool for looping that extends the window of a mistake, allowing a better chance to secure a kill. The community wants this perk buffed or reworked, but I think these numbers work better without being OP or useless. It wouldn't require much to change, just a number adjustment. Maybe it could even be a hot fix? Edit: Maybe u/not_Queen_BHVR can take a look? Maybe a hotfix kinda thing until a rework is done? [link] [comments]
Have some perk ideas - 2 survivor, 2 killer Posted: 06 Mar 2018 12:10 PM PST Some of these perks may already have been done, just putting my own spin on them. Survivor: Not Now, Not Never Very Rare Perk It's too early for you to die. Grants the ability to enter a focused state that heightens your senses when crouched for more than 5/4/3 seconds without moving. Being in this state will make you immune to any aura reading abilities from the killer. "Dammit, not now...! I've come too far, done too much..." (Stealth Perk that promotes, well, stealthy gameplay. Sort of a insidious for survivors, but gives you something to protect yourself from unavoidable but predictable aura reading abilities like BBQ and chili and addons, like All-seeing and Amanda's Letter. Does NOT work against abilities like Stridor.) Fighting Spirit Rare Perk You are not going down without a fight. While being carried by the killer, movement sway caused by your wiggling is 15%/25%/35% more effective. "Let me go!" (Many people have suggested a perk that increases the speed of your wiggling, but this would be a problem since a strong perk like that, meant to "counter" iron grasp, would instead make Iron grasp essential for killers. Instead, Fighting Spirit can be countered by Iron grasp and skilled gameplay by the killer, but still gives a relatively strong effect for the survivor.) Killer: Hex: Drain of Souls Very Rare Perk A hex rooting its power off of motivation. Each hit on a survivor with your basic attack disables one of the inflicted survivors perks up to a maximum of 2/3/4. This effect lasts as long as the corresponding totem still stands. Upon cleansing this totem, all disabled perks will return to the survivors. "It's always there, like a bad nightmare. No matter how much you run, it's always there, right behind you." (A strong hex perk, which of course like all hex perks, can be disabled. Successfully downing a survivor will give you 2 disabled perks on said survivor, one of those perks could be decisive strike or kindred, giving you the advantage for the time being, or your first hit could disable their dead hard. Many opportunities here.) Furious Hunter Very Rare Perk Your deep connection with the entity fuels your hunt, along with your frustrations. Bloodlust stacks can be spent in 3 different ways, triggering any of the following bonuses and removing one stack of bloodlust. Must have at least one stack of bloodlust to activate one of the following effects. Spend a stack to break one pallet 35%/40%/50% faster. Attack to spend a stack, the cool down for this attack, missed or successful, will be reduced by 25%/30%/35%. Being stunned by a pallet will spend a stack, and reduce the stun time by 20%/25%/30%. You will not gain speed bonuses for bloodlust stacks. "I think I just angered it..." (A perk that uses bloodlust for alternate bonuses at the cost of a perk slot and no speed bonus when you have bloodlust. Helps for pallet looping and general time wasting. You need as much time as you can get. As a return, promotes line of sight breaking and smart jukes for survivors, as breaking the chase will remove bloodlust and give the killer no bonuses.) What do you guys think? [link] [comments]
Can we have actual swf lobbies? Posted: 06 Mar 2018 02:40 AM PST I dont know if that got addressed in the past but its really annoying to create a new lobby after every single AND if the killer leaves. The invite process on ps4 takes way too long. [link] [comments]
Where did the Civ 5 meme come from Posted: 06 Mar 2018 11:55 AM PST I'm guessing that it's from a devstream, but idk. [link] [comments]

Posted: 06 Mar 2018 08:46 AM PST ... can't handle flashlights? I'm too stupid for these. In 1,5 years I managed to blind maybe ONE killer, the other times my face gets smacked or kisses the ground, so I never use them. But I'm kinda feeling stupid since everyone handles flashlights so smoothly and easily. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ [link] [comments]
