Posted: 21 Mar 2018 11:44 AM PDT We finally launched Gamer Queue about two months ago and have recently added a lot. It's a new website to help with finding teammates for more competitive play. Being a big gamer myself, I know how frustrating it can be to find good teammates that line up well personality and skill wise. We would love to build a strong a community and hope to bridge the gap when it comes to finding teammates easily. It's a soft beta so we're looking for feedback, but we do have a couple thousand users so far. Just register, Fill out your profile and select your favorite game as CSGO (you can add any game if you play other games as well) and then head to the "Queue" Feed which is where you'll search for groups or post a group yourself, make sure the correct platform you play on is selected ( will filter users and posts by this). Any game you add to your profile, you can then swap between ANY game you've added using the quick tray on the top right. (The more detailed your profile, the more responses to post you'll get) You can sign up with your email, or through twitch and discord on the landing page It's a little awkward just because we still need to add a lot of features and some really cool esports features planned for down the road, however, we're doing this in our spare time so development is a bit slower. (We have a lot of overwatch posts already, feel free to add Overwatch as a game in your library to check out the queue page for examples of how it works properly) Could use some help in terms of some esports features we have planned and some community management if anyone is interested. Cheers! -Alex [link] [comments] | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

2400 hours, GN3, game feels 10x as hard as it did when I was LEM, what is going on Posted: 21 Mar 2018 12:38 PM PDT Around 1600 of those hours are actual competitive play, I have played since beta, I queue prime and I play D2, Inferno, Cache, Nuke, Mirage. I reached LEM at around 2000 hours and I stopped playing for a few months. When I came back I was ranked at Nova 1 and in the past 3 or so months of playing I've managed to climb to Nova 3. The games I experience seem 10 times as difficult in terms of opponent's skill than the players I would face in LEM. Also there seems to be no structure anymore, enemy teams are either so coordinated it feels like I'm playing against a pro team, or they are so uncoordinated that I can't counter anything they do because there is no coherency in their play. I've tried changing my play style from lurking to being aggressive, and it's all just hit or miss every time. Every other game is completely polar opposite. So, did something happen with ranks, or how players are matched, or did I just magically become shit after only a few months of not playing? I've taken month long breaks before and have come right back to where I was within a few matches. Are Nova players suddenly god tier at the game? I don't know what has changed but I feel like I'm outclassed in every way now. I'm not trying to post a crybaby thread I'm just trying to clear my head and see if anyone else is in the same boat. It doesn't seem right. [link] [comments] |
