The Legend of Zelda - Friends and I almost finished this weeks ago, realized there was a missing piece. But we just finally found it. Pure bliss.

I have been away and have not played BotW in a week and four days. This got me wondering about how long a break should be, ideally? How long before you should just re-start the game?

I guess as long as you still remember what has happened in the game, the length of time away from it doesn't really matter that much? In my case, I had just completed my first Divine Beast and it's been a week and a few days since that point.

What's the longest you've been away from a game for? How long is too long in the case of a game like BotW?

Do you stress about maintaining a certain momentum by regularly playing or do you just play whenever?

so just beat my FIRST zelda game (OoT) my thoughts...

without any nostalgia going in i thought Oot was a pretty solid experience even if its a 20 year old game. i could see why people in 98 freaked the fuck out when this game came out.

i really liked the music, characters, level design, and when it would lock on the z targeting. i really enjoyed the story and loved the time skip. it was fun to play as adult link switching between two timelines. there were a few minor issues i had with it nothing that ruined anything. slow walking speed from young link. (epona was a gift from heaven) that camera, some clunky movement/aiming but i got used to it. i know its a older game so i can forgive it

i'd give it like 7 or 7.5 imo i enjoyed my first taste of zelda. glad to finally rid myself of my zelda game virginity. i just got TP so looking forward on playing that soon and later SS, WW, BOTW, etc.

I HAVE TO RANT ABOUT SOMETHING... NAVI SHE'S NOT THAT BAD! i heard she was super annoying but HEY LISTEN she's not bad at all. never got annoyed with her. kind reminds me of resident evil 4 and ashley. people over hyped her annoying factor but when i played re4 i had no issues with ashley either. maybe thats just me...

Anyone got this?

https://i.imgur.com/bVw72Vb.jpg I've been looking everywhere for this UK Breath of the Wild DLC cover/case and the only two people I found who own it are either not responding or I can't even contact them (can't send PM on NeoGAF for some reason). I'd really love to have this case or a high resolution scan of it, so any leads would help.

In what order is the best way to finish BotW, while its still not too OP ?

Posted: 04 Feb 2018 09:34 AM PST

I havent finished DLC1 i think, wasnt it only the Master Sword boost? Now im doing champions ballad and have finished 1/4 of the hard bosses, but it takes forever lol.

What is your recommendation of the order of things to finish? And what suits better after Ganon?

Which of these do you guys think is the better game and give reasons why(I was originally going to include BOTW but I feel that would've been way too easy)

Fantastic Zelda music rendition

Posted: 03 Feb 2018 07:09 PM PST

This is my first post here so if I am breaching any etiquette please tell me. I didn't see any mentions of this album when I searched the sub, but it has some fantastic music adapted from the series: http://music.rozen.audio/album/sins-of-hyrule. After recently beating BOTW, the track "The Castle in Ruins" gave me chills.

I’ve recently discovered the joy of roaming by lakes and rivers with magnetism activated

I had no idea there were so many fun things to find in the water. I must have missed so many things from my early travels. Oh well. I'll just have to roam the entire map again. Poor me.
