Please don't replace ore drops with "tokens", as planned - make these drops meaningful objects instead

In the Mining and Smithing Q&A Stream this week, the JMods mentioned their plan to rework droptables, which I think is awesome in principle. The idea is to replace ores with tokens that skillers can use to mine more ore than they normally would.

However, the idea of "tokens" replacing drops seems very un-runescape-y to me. Tokens break immersion by reminding you that you're in a game, not a game world. In my opinion, "tokens" should be replaced with meaningful objects. There are lots of examples of current in-game items that successfully do this:

  • Kal'gerion Battle Commendation (not: Kal'gerion Title Unlock Token)

  • Araxxyte Pheromone (not: Araxxyte Enrage Reset Token)

  • Intricate Smoke-Shrouded (etc.) Chest (not: Smoke Outfit Unlock Token)

There are also many unsuccessful examples currently in the game, not just of tokens, but generally of un-creatively named objects that unlock boosts or cosmetics:

  • Guthixian Cache Boost (could be: Blessing of Guthix)

  • Mimic Kill Token (could be: Mimic Bounty, Mimic Hideout Map, etc.)

  • Seeker's Charm (could be: Mysterious Rift Plasma - I know this is named after the existing seeker's charm, but my point still stands)

I think this is a relatively small change that could really enhance the mining and smithing rework. Creating immersive game objects instead of tokens would really enhance the droptable rework!

You cut 5k+ gems/hour and 2.5k battlestaves made per hour respectively. For the sake of consistency Dhides and battlestaff orbs have a buy limit of 10k.

No I'm not merching btw. If I was merching I can sell these to forums for a better price.

Have our butlers do shop runs/dailies for us(DailyScape Reduction)

An idea to help reduce daily-scape could be hiring/paying our butler in our house(at certain construction/invention levels?) to go do our daily shop runs like buying runes/hides/gems/seaweed/cactus/feathers/broads/etc. As well as mine sandstones, any any other simple task like that(I know I'm forgetting some.)

Re-rolling dailies shouldn't auto-select the original challenge when you close out of the menu before selecting one.

When re-rolling a challenge on my ironman, I decided to check if I had the items in my bank before selecting the new challenge. So, I clicked on my bank, and the daily menu closed. I opened the menu again, and my original challenge was selected.

RIP 120k fletching xp and 25 vis. :(
