It's OK to stop playing this game without letting this sub know.

The addition of the new crates before they can show us a "roadmap" is utter bullshit and a slap in the face to the community. They can add a "purchase keys here" button but can't fix the default TPP/FPP button?

I feel like we're constantly left in the dark or just kinda lied to.

In the PC#6 update (which was a joke, like the rest of the updates since it became a full release) they said they have been so busy so they had to alter times on the road map, so they can't show it to us. Why not just show it but remove the dates? SO WE HAVE AN IDEA WHAT YOU'RE DOING?

They have developed a (so far) useless anti-cheat. I don't think they want to spend any more money on this game as they know it will be over soon. They don't have the resources or talent to do so, they obviously wouldn't tell the community. So what do they do? They release a second set of paid crates not long after the last. What makes me laugh is this: What happened last time they add the monetised crates for the ESL tourny? People went mad! Saying that they shouldn't be asking for money for cosmetics till this game is polished, they have higher priorities! Now they add a second load in the space of 2-3 months.. What the fuck for? To make some more money? As if the amount of copies sold to cheaters, or the crates aren't enough already. It seems like they're just trying to take the most money now as it won't last.

Is there a competent company bringing out a new BR game? Are they afraid to put the work into it because of this?

It's cheeky, and a bitch-slap to the face of the community imo. No real game play updates since release, no time to show us a roadmap of what to expect by when, but lo and behold they have the time to throw in some more monetise crates?!

What makes me laugh is the reset of "TPP/FPP" after each game. It's such a simple fix - they can add a "purchase key here" button but can't stop the main one from resetting? This is the biggest joke. It's fine to add a button to make them money, but to change the properties of a button so it makes the lives of the players easier is too hard? THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY TAKING THE PISS. Fuck this game, and fuck Bluehole.

The negatively in this sub is so apparent that it does not need to he spoken about. 800+ pubg hours and zero complaints. I'm crossing my fingers that blue hole is just taking a lot of time to built there company and also work on things. I assume they pushed 1.0 (which was an amazing amazing improvement most people now forget) and assumed it would be enough while they figure behind the curtain things out.

Pubg is the first of its kind and God damn is it fun. Let's get that hype train for map 3 and loads of features to come going ladies and gentlemen! Can't wait for blue hole to prove some of you assholes wrong! Woot Woot!

Fast, alternative way to kill PUBG process (useful for game stucking on loading screen to lobby)

Posted: 21 Feb 2018 06:56 AM PST

Right Click on your desktop, Create new shortcut with this path:

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c "taskkill /f /im TslGame.exe"

Save it. Move it to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs so that it appears in "All apps" section on your start menu. Then you can pin it in your start menu tile thing from there if you'd like.

When PUBG stucks on loading, all you do is Alt-tab, hit Win-Key, start menu comes up and simply clicking that shortcut will kill PUBG.

If your keyboard or mouse allows to bind a key to "Launch a program", you could bind it to that shortcut and kill PUBG on press (use a key you'd never misclick while gaming).

  • EDIT: Edited to enhance formatting for clearer instructions. Many alternative ways listed in the comments below, so anyone could pick what suits them better. Just wanted to add that in this single shortcut you could kill & run the game, essentialy restarting the game with little to no hassle. Just follow the procedure described above, and change path to:

    C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c taskkill /f /im TslGame.exe & start steam://rungameid/578080

Footstep Audio in PUBG

Posted: 20 Feb 2018 11:25 PM PST

I am using Razor Kraken 7.1 Chroma Headset

Gun shots, close or far, I hear very well and don't seem to have a problem with. Footsteps on the other hand seem very confusing. Not so much in close outdoor proximity but more so in and around buildings. In the School for example, sometimes it sounds like an enemy player is outside when next to a Window, Upstairs and Downstairs all at the same time when in reality they are running in the gym 2 walls over.

If I go into a apartment building via the bottom floor it's easy to tell they are above me and to which side (Left or Right). But when I am in the middle of the floors it becomes a little confusing if they are above or below me. Also when people are running in buildings next to mine it is very hard to decipher if they are in my building or not.

Stereo?...5.1?...7.1 Surround? What do you use and how well do you locate footsteps? 25% Accuracy? 100%? What head-set are you using?

Please try and be more descriptive and informative then "You're just not use to it"

I would say my Gun-Fire Accuracy is about 95% and my footsteps are about 75%. I would like to improve on this, thanks~
