[Complaint] Servers just went down?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 11:48 AM PST

I can't login and neither can my friend... anyone else? This is getting really really annoying.

EDIT: Seems its been confirmed by Niantic: https://twitter.com/PokemonGoApp/status/964230760214405120

EDIT2: Looks like it might be back up now

[Idea] Official Gym Leaders in bigger cities (one per city) that you can battle to earn the unique badge of that city like in the gameboy games

Happy (late) Valentine’s Day (OC)

I recreated one of my drawings with photoshop and some pokémon go models

Ex Raid Idea. Team rocket take over a gym with a mechanical Pokemon. Teir 6 battle. If defeated the raid team receive a pass at that gym at a later date.

[Discussion] Why the servers are down.

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 12:08 PM PST

Guys. It's so obvious. They released Team Rocket (apparel) yesterday. And now the servers are down. This is no coincidence. All the Pokemon are being stolen. Right now.

Would you like to have Pokemon Centers in the game? Or at least have an option for us to heal our Pokemon without using just revives?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 02:40 PM PST

I think a way Niantic could fix the low revives and potions issue in the game is just to have another way for us to heal Pokemon. Whether there would be some kind of cooldown after each revival, using Pokecoins to revive your Pokemon, Or perhaps introduce Pokemon Centers that you could visit your local park, mall or downtown area and heal your Pokemon their. I think introducing another way to heal our Pokemon.

How good is Salamence?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 05:57 PM PST

Are Rayquaza, Dragonite and Salamence interchangeable dragon attackers?

What are the pros and cons of each?

Which one would you favour in a raid battle scenario?

Thanks,

Just need some insight as to what to invest stardust and candies into.

Also, how does Mewtwo stack up?

Does it bother anyone else that the items in the item trays are not aligned on the catch screen?

How Many Players to Defeat This Battle? (fixed)

My first legendary raid

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 08:59 AM PST

My university has a few gyms on campus, and today during my lunch hour there was a rayquaza outside the library. I saw about 20 people crowded around a shelter in the rain, and I wandered over. I stood by the edge of the crowd, too nervous to ask anything since I didn't know the process of group raids, when someone asked what team I was on. I said valor, and he said "there's eleven seconds, quick, here's the code."

I fought along with 8 other players, who all started with legendaries (I started with a hitmonlee with stone edge), and we took it down. I failed the catch challenge, unfortunately, but it was still so exhilarating and I was surprised at how friendly everyone was. I had to be told that I could heal and rejoin the fight, since I didn't realise and nearly missed out on the kill, and was explained how the TM works that I won, since I never won one from tier 1 raids.

Basically, I wanted to say how fun this game can be in groups! I know this is likely obvious to many, but coming from a small town where few people played this is a part time of the game I haven't been able to join in with until now.

Dog lovers will tell you it’s fake, but Team Rocket believes.

An expression of love for the people of this subreddit

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 02:58 PM PST

I just want to say thanks to all of you who populate this subreddit. I can't understand why I love coming here so much but I spend at least a couple hours a Day here looking at stuff and commenting and just enjoying the communal experience of playing this game. I don't have any friends who play or a raid group so I really value the sense of community I get being on here day to day.

Good luck getting ex raid passes for this weekend!

[Idea] Pokemon Go's villanous team should be Team Static, set on keeping everyone as sedentary as possible.
