Congratulations to the legit winners of S12

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 12:32 PM PST

Hi! I'm DeadFaith and I'm hosting a start of the season fundraising charity stream!

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 01:16 AM PST

Hello everybody! I am DeadFaith, former Diablo 3 streamer, Hearthstone semi-professional and tournament organiser, and now I'm back to Diablo.

I came back in the middle of season 12, did my leveling, paragons and some conquests, but took the season pretty casually.

For season 13 I've planned a looong stream, as much as 20 hours in a a piece, but as the season starts at 17:00 and I really like sleep, that's not possible.

Anyway enough with my banter. Let's get to the point.

There will be 2 streams. (twitch.tv/deadfaithhs)

Friday 23.02. starting at 16:30 CET and till 1 AM of the next day

  • Attempt for first group to reach lvl 70 HC EU

  • Attempt for first GRift 20 HC EU

  • Attempt for first GRift 60 HC EU

Saturday 24.02. starting at 10:30 CET and till 19:00

  • Gearing up with my team, maybe viewer runs, but most definitely GRift pushing and gemups, again, HC

The money you donate (link provided in the description of the stream) will go to the Animal Shelter "Snoopy" in Pula, Croatia. The shelter works completely off of donations and volounteers, wonderful people who help the animals in need. The shelter has been underfunded by the city for years, enough to afford food for the animals, but not the neccesarry medicines and surgeries to save their lives. The shelter currently holds over 60 animals, most of which are dogs (13 adorable little puppies!), but also cats, mice, birds and others. This shelter does something other shelters don't however. They keep track of the foster homes and makes sure the animals adopted live the life they deserve on a regular basis, ensuring they gave them to a good home. Here is their website for anybody interested http://www.snoopy.hr .

How to donate: you'll click the provided link that will take you to a new tab. There you can insert the ammount you wish to donate, your name, and you can even send a custom message! Every donation will be visible on stream, and I'll read the messages coming up together with a shoutout to the donor. All the donors who give out their name and/or alias will have their name put on a picture, giving them honor for their help and good deed. The picture will be hung in the main room of the shelter so our achievement is acknowledged.

At the end, when all donations come through, I'll personally take the funds collected straight to the shelter (and record it for proof together with the volounteers).

Thank you all for your attention and have a wonderful day. Hope to see you there!

P.S. I'm looking for 1-2 chat mods. The mods would have to keep an eye on the chat and provide links for the duration of both streams (probably mostly the donation link). Send me a private message if interested :)

Help with stash / inventory mindset

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 03:37 PM PST

TL:DR
My bag is a fool There is no room in the stash to store my character's equipment / inventory when I rebirth them, what to do?

I've been playing D3 since S4, I REALLY like this game, reaching "guardian" on every season and playing with another character even after the season journey is complete.
But there is a point that is stressing me every season, the stash. When I started, I kept every legendary / set item (literally), after the 2nd season of each class, the class tab was already more than full, so I broke every "non-build" item, low-level gems, etc. Now my stash has ~90% of ancient items, no gem bellow 60 and all "random" legendaries are cubed.
How I organize my stash : 2/3 builds on the stash and/or equiped on the character. This basically takes 1 tab for each character (I could use the character inventory as stash, but this isn't practical for characters that I play, and would be mailed on rebirth anyway). I also keep a tab with cosmetic items (tradeable xmogs) to share with another people.
I do have necro pack, and all season tabs, yet the stash is always full (well, I do keep one empty tab to store the items from rebirth characters).
Currently I'm rebirth (and playing) only one character / season, I really wanted to play with more, but I would have no room do store the equipment from the rebirthed character, and at the end of the season I would have lots of items to store in the (already full) stash (2 full sets speed / push solo), and this got even worse if you take in account "group GR" sets.
This may sound like a "1st world problem", but it's really keeping me from having fun. Any insight, tip to handle the stash and / or change in my viewpoint of the game / items that me to solve this stash problem will be appreciated c:

Which of these is the easiest Conquest: Masters of the Universe, Curses!, or Sprinter ?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 02:09 PM PST

I'm looking at which 3 conquests I should do this season to reach the end of the journey. I can do Divinity and The Thrill easily enough, but I'm not sure which of the other 3 are the easiest.

Masters of the Universe may be easy enough for some, but I'm pretty bad at the set dungeons haha. So I'm a little hesitant.

Are Curses! or Sprinter easily pug-able without massive coordination?

D3 crashed a lot when switching scenes

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 01:37 PM PST

It happened a lot recently. When i returning to town, the game just stayed at the screen, i had to kill the program.

I want to know if this happens to others as well, or it is just me. I recently reinstalled my windows. I kept the D3 folder, instead of downloading it again. Not sure if this is the reason.

D3planner

Anyone else been having issues with d3planner? For the past several days I've been having issues finding my profile and at times when I am able to find it, the site has been unable to load my characters.

Solo Saturday/Sunday

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 07:47 AM PST

We all know the divide between solo players and big efficient 4 player groups is massive. The XP gain alone is the big concern, not even taking into account the added magic find.

I prefer playing alone and I know many people feel the same way, that we are often forced into groups to feel like we are playing effectively.

It would be awesome if there was a specific time where solo game modes straight up got double the XP they usually do for a specific time, like a realm buff happy hour type thing over the weekends that sweetens the deal. Or even once a week we get a special one time use potion that gives us an hour of double XP in solo games (this way players who work odd hours don't miss out)

The weekly addition of the challenge rifts was cool and adds a reason for most players to get a reward cache once a week, I rely on this since I don't do many bounty runs. I think more weekly content like these bonuses would be great for a solo player to pop one of these and see how many GR85-90s they can smash in the time limit.

What are the effortless builds for each class?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 07:13 AM PST

I really enjoy my whirlwind barb because all I do is move and don't really have to cast spells and position properly etc..

What are the laziest builds for each class? I love to just listen to podcasts and stuff while I farm.

Will season 13 HC top leaderboards only consist of botters?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 06:05 AM PST

Hi fellow Redditors!

As a crazy Diablo lover, I, along with 3 friends are considering re-joining for season 13 [EU HC] after 3-4 seasons break!

BUT..

While we have all been away from Diablo 3 a lot of attention has been brought to botting. We used to and would love to go fully competitive again, in terms of leaderboards. But it seems that the last couple of seasons leaderboards have been dominated by people botting insanely high amounts of paragon!?

This is super discouraging, and before I hype myself too much, I wanted to ask you all:

Will season 13 be yet another season of botters dominating, or do we none-botters stand a chance?

Love, Bourbon

is there a good place for all things Necro Related?

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 03:20 AM PST

Wanting to play the necro this coming season. Was wondering if there's anywhere I could read up on all the different builds and such, how the necro works/plays, best way to use my blood shards etc. etc. While I don't have the IRL time to go for any high ladder rankings, I still like to play my character to the best of my abilty so the little time I do have is not wasted.

S13 2 player composition suggestions

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 04:31 AM PST

Any suggestions on composition for 2 players? One is going RGK necro. I prefer playing DH/WD, but feel like a change this season. Should I go wiz? (archon and talrasha set are not my fav gameplay, so probably would be stuck with firebirds meteor?) Or is there an aoe dps necro build that I am unaware of?
