Changes from Stage 1.

Format

Group Play matches will be 4 Game Sets. The map order is as follows:

Environmental kills on Sombra

So now that Sombra changes are going to hit the live soon (I hope) I was going to ask something that kind of concerns me a little.

You know all the characters that can get environmental kills get ultimate charge for the enemy they killed. Now after quite a few hours of testing the new Sombra on the PTR, I've noticed that not only doesn't Sombra get charge after getting an environmental kill, but she doesn't even appear on the kill feed, great examples of this can be Pharah, Mercy, Lucio who can easily fall off the map after getting hacked.

I think now that her EMP doesn't get charge from healthpacks, it wouldn't do too much, especially since these situations like this won't happen often, but hacking a Pharah and having her fall out of the map, should reward you with at least some ultimate charge just how Lucio would gets some for booping someone off and also show you in the kill feed !

I tried my best to edit the kill feed to show how it would look like if Sombra would hack someone and that making that certain hero fall off of the map due to the loss of movement abilities/passives.

A message from Emre mains

As a Bottom 500 Emre main with almost a second played on the hero I've seen some frustrating things my teammates do basically every game.

1. Don't overextend! This should be really basic stuff, but some people keep on doing so. When you're balls deep behind the enemy lines, trying to fight your 1v6 battles, there's hardly anything we can do. Emre's abilities can only make up for your mistakes so much. I wouldn't really care honestly, but when I see "WTF EMRE????" in chat, it's really hard not to tilt.

2. Don't panic ult / waste your ult alone! I've seen a lot of the players use their ults right before they die or when our team isn't grouped up to follow up. Dude, we could combo so hard. Emre's ult has a great deal of synergy with most ults in the game, it can potentially lead to a team wipe, so why waste it?

3. Sometimes it's not our fault. Yes, the hero is new and we got much to learn and improve, but defaulting to blame Emre everytime things are going south isn't going to help the team a lot. You might talk about non-existing issues, forcing your Emre to play differently than he is or you might shame him into switching to another hero, although he is doing everything right.

4. "NERF/BUFF EMRE!" I know this isn't exactly gameplay related but I felt the need to talk about this. This hero is just out, he's not even on the PTR and you're already fed up with him. Just try and put the time into figuring out what counters him if you're struggling against the guy. If you think he's too weak jump into the practice range, get a feel for his cooldowns, work on bringing out the most of his ultimate, see where can get to, and when you're comfortable enough hop into QP and see how your recent knowledge works out in a teamfight.

I think that's it, but feel free to add stuff.

Hero 27 might be the omnic/thing that gravely injured Torbjorn. It must have been something very powerful to almost kill Torbjorn, right? I feel like Emre is just a distraction.

What if 50HP of Doomfist's base health were replaced with armor?

Currently, Doomfist's HP is 250 (250 health). What if he kept his HP value the same but his base health were reduced to 200 and he gained 50 armor (200 health/50 armor).

He would remain weak to burst damage (e.g., Widow, Hanzo, Junkrat, Pharah), as armor does little to mitigate that, but he would gain a bit more survivability against rapid fire and shotgun weapons (e.g., Reaper, Tracer, D.Va, Winston).

It can often feel like Doomfist is countered by a majority of the cast, and I think this would help reduce that number a bit. For instance, prior to D.Va's rework, Doomfist definitely had the advantage in a fight against her. Post-rework, with shooting while flying and Micro Missiles...not so much.

It would also help him be more consistent by giving him greater mid-fight sustain, meaning that he'd hopefully be less "hot or cold" (i.e., doing everything or doing nothing). Sure, 50 armor might not seem like much, but if it means surviving an additional Reaper shot or potentially tanking a Hog hook combo, that could make a pretty big difference for his viability.

To be clear, I don't think Doomfist is necessarily weak right now. I just think he's inconsistent and outright countered by too many other characters. The goal here would be making him more consistent and reducing that counter number, hopefully (while maintaining several of those counters, like those listed above who aren't really affected by armor).
