Fallout 4’s map should of expanded out behind Vault 111 and Sanctuary, instead of out into the ocean Posted: 11 Feb 2018 06:00 AM PST The ocean is pointless, yet it's so big. So personally I think that instead the map should of included the land behind Vault 111 instead. One of my issues with the game is that there's too many people and settlements too close together. I would of loved to be able to walk across complete wasteland, maybe 1 sole building every now and again, with dogmeat, having a proper apocalyptic feel, you know like I am Legend vibes (I am aware that takes place inside a city but you get the point). The best example I can think of is like with Nuka World, how empty the land around feels in some places. EDIT: Yes I know I've put should of instead of should have, I'm sorry okay I'm JUST A MERE MAN [link] [comments] |

I’ve never played Fallout 3 or New Vegas. Should I give it a try? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 12:33 PM PST It seems like everyone liked these two games more than Fallout 4. I thought Fallout 4 was fun but I got bored of it after beating it. Should I play the two titles previously stated? Are the graphics too inferior at this point to enjoy it? I would really appreciate any opinions! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Feb 2018 09:26 AM PST So, We know that there are some people from across the sea (Moriarty, Cait?). We also know about Working boats (Point Lookout, And Far Harbor), Do you think that people trade across the Oceans? Like who if a Person had Power Armor in France?, They would be near unkillable... what about the unique Flora & Fauna. What about Weapon and Chems? [link] [comments] |
(New Vegas) Build for New Desert Rangers Posted: 11 Feb 2018 12:26 PM PST So the other day I was playing New Vegas, and I had this idea for a character that was ex-desert ranger, and wanted to rebuild the group. Note- Some mods are required, and some are recommended. Required includes: Unlimited Companions, Set Companion Home. Recommended: Russell, any home base mod (I like the bungalow from Willow, or the Aerotech office player home), JIP CCC, and unlimited companion ammo. Player Character- The skills you choose to invest in are up to you, however you should be a specialist of some sorts, and a good leader. I personally focused my build around using medium-range guns, my final loadout including the All-American and the Elite Riot Gear from Lonesome Road. You should have these companions enlisted: Boone- As a sharpshooter, he should be equipped with a sniper rifle, such as the Gobi Campaign Scout Rifle. He will also use the armour he gets after completing his personal quest, and the option chosen should be to let go of his past. Cass- Should wear the Desert Ranger Armour without the helmet, from Honest Hearts, and use a high powered shotgun. I recommend Dinner Bell. (Modded) Russell- Medium range guns, such as his personal weapon. He will use the armour from his personal quest. Veronica- Heavy hitter, she will use either Brotherhood armour, or Remnants Power Armour, and wield Two-Step Goodbye. She should be told to leave the Brotherhood rather than stay. Arcade- Medic, should use a plasma weapon. He may use his Gannon Family power armour, though I don't recommend it for his character. Rex- Group mascot, give him Lupa's brain. This may sound like a lot of people, so I recommend not using them all at once. Arcade and Veronica would likely prefer to stay at the base anyhow. For home bases, I recommend the deluxe bungalow from Willow as a startup, and then the Aerotech player home mod as the final location. Use the set companion home as a tool for this. Group Goal- To first and foremost protect the people of the wasteland. Will choose the NCR ending, unless an independent route makes more sense for your character. The group will maintain a neutrality between major the factions, though they should be loved by the settlements of the Mojave. Speech should be the first option used by the player, even if it'll fail. Violence should be a second option. Disposition- Zero tolerance for raiders, chem-dealers, or the Legion. The Khans are an exception, and they should be pushed to make medicinal chems. Have the Followers of the Apocalypse restore them to their former glory. The previously named groups should be shot on sight, and actively hunted by the rangers. No issues towards Ghouls or Super Mutants, though they will kill hostile groups. Recommended quests for the group- NCR quests that harm the Legion, and assist the people of the wasteland. Should actively help the townsfolk of the Mojave, including the mutants of Black Mountain, Jacobstown, and Repconn. Never do any quests out of greed, and when given the option to refuse payment, take it, unless working for the NCR. No factions should be wiped out, except for the Legion. Create alliances between the NCR and all other factions. [link] [comments] |
AI distinction in the Railroad Posted: 11 Feb 2018 10:20 AM PST The theme of AI is very prevalent in every fallout game, the railroad fights for AI rights, however, where is the distinction between robot and a being worthy of "freedom?" The railroad doesn't fight for Mr. Handy rights, even though Codsworth is one emotional sumbitch [link] [comments] |
Don't know if the code still works but I already own fallout 3 so here Posted: 11 Feb 2018 01:48 PM PST |
What is the scariest thing in a fallout game? (Place, enemy etc) Posted: 11 Feb 2018 03:29 AM PST Personally I think the ghost people from dead money are the scariest. [link] [comments] |
[QUESTION] ELI5 how the provisioners actually work? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 08:34 AM PST Do they just make it so that settlements can share workshop inventories or can they be used to supply other settlements with resources like food and water? I've had the game since 2016 and i still haven't quite figured that out lmao [link] [comments] |
I was playing Dead Money, and I think I'm fucked Posted: 11 Feb 2018 03:21 PM PST I was playing Dead Money and had just activated the Gala Event and exited the bell tower, but due to a previous encounter with the trapper from hell, I now have 1 health and can't get back through the main courtyard without getting shishkebabed by throwing spears... any ideas? (Fallout 4) Start fresh or continue old save? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 03:00 PM PST Thinking of getting back into the game again. But thinking maybe I should start again and just enjoy the game for what it is. My character was around level 30 but I think I had not played in such a long time, it might be best to start over. I was wondering what you guys thought. Also, a random question, do a lot of people still play this game and is there a discord or community that talks about fallout 4 exclusively? Thanks :) [link] [comments] |
So i uh lost a quest card in the fallout boardgame Posted: 11 Feb 2018 04:00 AM PST Finished my first game with friends and I'm missing quest 001, its just misplaced somewhere, but can anyone copy the text for me? It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
ArchiveInvalidaton Invalidated not working Posted: 11 Feb 2018 02:07 PM PST Hey guys, sorry about this stupid question but there's literally no answers online to help me. I'm trying to get a backpack mod working for Fallout 3 but nothing works. Nexus mod manager already invalidates but that didn't work so I downloaded the actual mod for it and activated it but it still won't work! So please help me, I'm on Windows 10 btw. How to get overpowered weapons in fallout 2 (no effort required) Posted: 11 Feb 2018 01:56 PM PST So I have just killed Tubby in The Den and he had all the items he sold on his corpse (Including a Desert Eagle and 10mm submachine gun) And I give the submachine gun to Sulik. When Billy, a Chem addict attacks me, Sulik shoots him for 129 DAMAGE POINTS. That is enough to kill the Chosen One at the end of the game IN FULL ENCLAVE POWER ARMOR. Conclusion? Sulik is better that Frank Horrigan. [link] [comments] |
I started out NV , what should i spend my 10 points on ? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 04:39 AM PST People told me to go all in for luck but some others say charisma and intelligence is important in the beginning [link] [comments] |
What is your 'Fuck this bullshit' moment in survival? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 09:15 PM PST Surely everyone has at least 5 major heart breaking moments in survival. Lets hear your best. I've just come back from a long walk, been to the bottle shop, called my dad and cried immensely into my pillow. I've also installed a quick save mod because fuck that bed only save nonsense right off. Level 12, doing the quest for the defenseless morons at templines buff. I am quite new to the Fallout franchise, about 60 hours in, so I often forget to sleep to save. And I'm a dumbass. I arrive at the designated spot (Corn Assembly Plant or something) after what turned out to be a fucking eventful short walk and spent the next 1 hour and 30 minutes dying to these raiders that were trained by the SAS. Never before have I seen enemies effectively use cover in this game. It felt like I was in a ranked r6 siege game. I've progressed so far through this shithole of a factory, I could finally see the marker on top of the last raider in the last little area. Even at this moment, saving my game in a random matress hasn't even entered my miniscule, under-developed brain. As I'm about to pull out my stupidly heavy sniper, my inconsiderate dog starts groaning. I turn around muttering IRL how sick I am of this fucking dog, to find two ghouls crawling out of a fucking floor vent?? One of them had a skull next to the name too. Silly fools were dead before they could find their feet. I've been having a rough time with ammo, and have been looking for that nice melee weapon to quickly pop out when Radroaches or Molerats appear. Low and behold, a pool cue dropped. This pool cue wasn't any old thing, it was a spartan spear. It had the buff 'Deals 75% more damage to enemies with full health.' Literally had a tear in my eye. I am using my controller to play FO4, and being an avid Skyrim fan, I tried to figure out the button layout to poke my spear/pool cue. I pressed RB. With molotovs equipped. I even heard the grenade click and thought 'Aim up, she'll be right.' 'Why the fuck is that railing on a roof?' I thought as I 1G'd myself to death. I then respawned at Red Rocket, where I decided to make a random bed to sleep, before I even went to Templines bluff in the first place to undertake this mission that was planned specifically by FO4 devs to ruin my day. TLDR: If you are adament on losing a copious amount of progression because you are a dumbass who forgot to sleep, install a quicksave mod. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Feb 2018 09:38 AM PST Heather (who rocks like Willow!) mentions a fairy-tale house in the south. There is nothing on the map and 5,000+ comments on the mod's page on Nexus. Does anyone know what she's talking about? [link] [comments] |
What happened to Kellogg's family? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 01:18 PM PST I noticed the second memory of Kellogg in Fallout 4 that he had a spouse and a daughter but what happened to them? Did the guy in the third memory that he was hunting down kill his spouse and daughter? And if so, who was he? I swear Fallout's lore has alot of mystery... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Feb 2018 01:11 PM PST So, I have all the DLC (not the seasonpass) i cant use the Creation Club, I have Skyrim Special Edition and CC works, but not on Fallout, I don't really know whats wrong [link] [comments] |
Any delightful/dreadful surprises in your character builds? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 12:45 PM PST I am currently running what I call the lucky junkie-gunslinging ninja. So yeah my settlements suck due to no supply lines, and only robots are my friends. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 11 Feb 2018 12:06 PM PST Whenever I try to launch Fallout 4 it auto detects my settings to low (even though I know my computer can run Fallout 4 on ultra and I have done so before) and boots up to a black screen before crashing. I've tried reinstalling, verifying game cache, reinstalling drivers and nothing so far has worked. Help? I have a GeForce GTX 1050 To Driver version 390.77 Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40 GHz 7.9 GB ram [link] [comments] |
How do you place items like action figure or other memorabilia in display cases? Posted: 11 Feb 2018 03:45 PM PST FO4 with all the DLCS. You can build and 'activate' a display case but there's no way to easily place an item. I have to drop and pick up until it's sort of close to the way I want it hope that I drop it properly again. Am I doing it wrong? I don't have any display case mods, just the official DLCs. Thanks [link] [comments] |
Quality of Life Mod Question... Weight and Value Posted: 11 Feb 2018 11:46 AM PST Does anyone know the name of the mod that shows you the weight and value of an item when you are moused over it? I saw a streamer with it the other day, but I forgot to write down the name of the mod. Any help is appreciated. Cheers! [link] [comments] |
