Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:22 AM PST I think it would be nice to have a little icon when you hover over an item that tells you what kind of materials you would get for dismantling. I know most of us have an idea as to what will come out of certian items but I saw some people running into the issue of dismantling the Undetered Sparrow only to get 10 shards from it. That would be rather annoying but easily resolved by just giving us a little icon showing what materials come out of items, it doesn't have to tell us how much we would get, just what items. What do the people think? [link] [comments]

Posted: 19 Feb 2018 08:48 PM PST Just to start, I'd like to say I was the type of guy without a console who'd spend hours watching people play the first Destiny. When Destiny 2 came out, I jumped on it and I've been playing it almost non-stop ever since I got it in late October. I still like Destiny 2, but I can completely understand why a lot of the player base has vanished, and I believe your frustrations (some of which I share) are justified. Regardless, I've decided to become someone who posts their ideas in hopes we can develop a discussion or an exchange of ideas. I'm familiar with Destiny 1, and one of my many ideas for Destiny 2 would be a survival/horde mode similar to Prison of Elders, but I'm here to present a completely new idea, one I've gotten inspiration from several MMO's. I recognize Destiny isn't an MMO, but it does have some similar traits, and at this point I believe we'd be thankful for anything new, as long as it isn't a reskin. What I propose can be either in a pvp or pve style, but in essence it is a siege mode. In the PVE aspect of things, it consist of 3 fireteams of six, assaulting a citadel of enemies. Perhaps there could be three fronts, and the various firetearms would need to assault their way through several layers of fortifications, perhaps each "layer" having a sort of mini-boss, or mini-objective (such as hold x for y amount of time). Ultimately, each fireteam would link up in the center of the citadel/base to attack a massive boss (with minimal, if any mechanics, as those would have taken place beforehand with smaller fireteams) where it would be a DPS race/survival. On the PVP side of things, it could be similar to having to defend a certain building from enemies for a set amount of time. Perhaps giving those "siege-ing" vehicles and other bonuses to even the playing field against the defenders. I realize it's not very Destiny-esque, but it's an interesting idea that could work for either PVE or PVP. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:30 AM PST So, here is my case, one of my friends got a Destiny2 code as a prize in a LAN Party, he offered it to me in exchange of one AoE Definitive Edition key, so 20$ aprox. The thing is, I tried the first Destiny on PS3 and i liked it, tried the Destiny 2 Beta, and i liked it but it seems to me as a time consuming game and nowadays i dont have as much free time to play as I would like. Do you think Destiny 2 is good for a casual gaming style? Less than 10 hours a week for sure. More important, i dont intend to spend more money than the key exchange proposed, does this suppose any problem with how the game is and will be developed? Thank you guys! [link] [comments]

Poll - What is the best exotic for each subclass in PvE? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 09:11 AM PST So I wanted to get the communities view as to what the best exotics for each subclass in PvE. Feel free to vote on any number of polls you want. If you see any exotics missing, that's because I removed all exotics that have no real use on that subclass. WarlockTitanHunterThanks for voting and I hope this information is useful to you. [link] [comments]
Posted: 20 Feb 2018 09:11 AM PST TL;DR Add the old planets in using Osirus or The Stranger (or both) with a weird space story - for FREE and watch as your player base gets resuscitated. I do not know of Bungie's full plan. However I feel that with all these missteps that have occurred they could allocate a few people to (or just give them to us as they were) the old planets. (Moon, Venus and the other Earth areas; mars too but I am focusing on raid planets) These are already created places and could be dropped as free content along with remastered raids with new things to find. I don't make games, I wont pretend this is an easy ask. A campy fun B movie esque quest line could be created around the old stuff, as a fun way to incorporate it all back in. (Idea Incoming) Use Osirus as a plot device to make us need to go back to these places and help him find out new lore. His ability to be in every timeline.. as well as the stranger.. could prove very useful in creating a wild ride for the player. Chucking you into really weird and odd time warps. I mean, drop a cut scene with Osirus pulling your guardian into Ghauls ship right after he destroys the tower and have you to much him outright. and hes like Yo forget this guy we got a bigger fish to fry.. and he yanks you into a quest line ending at one of the old raids.. Hive god is trying to crash teh moon into earth.. Oryx is back.. Siva is creeping into the EDZ come with me to find out if Aksis is up and running again. These are just off the cuff. I think it would be a good way to apologize than to just say you get that you messed up. Intoducing Osirus creates an incredible opportunity to allow old content to live again.. I dont think anyone would hate you all dropping stuff for free. Dont even say anything. Do it. Then tweet it out one day. Oh yeah Osirus needs your help. VoG? People would literally scamper into the nearest space craft to get to these encounters. The influx you would see would be monumental. And the best part is these areas are all created. Its an easy sell, wouldnt you agree ACTIVISION? I think Bungie got bogged down with having to churn out a lot of content and in the process creating Destiny stopped being fun. No one wants that. This is just a message from one guardian being sent out into the universe. I still want to play.. i just am having a hard time staying involved. I miss getting amped up for this universe. What are some good Hunter armour loadouts for PvP? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 05:51 AM PST I realise the Hunter class is more about mobility than taking a beating but I'm not finding high mobility very helpful in PvP because, even at 10, you're not going to outrun a bullet. Also, because of the mobility focus I guess, it feels like it's hard to find a good loadout which boosts Resilience and Recovery at the same time - it's one or the other. I'm currently running 2/9/2 with the DO Anti Extinction helm, Ahamkara's Spine gaunts, DO Anti Extinction vest and Road Complex boots - with 2 mobility mods thrown in to bump the stat up a bit. I'm also using the MIDA combo for a speed boost, so if I could bump Recovery higher I feel like I'd be more competitive. I'm just interested to hear what are other people using for PvP, and how I can tweak my setup to feel a bit less fragile! [link] [comments]
Can anyone fill me in on Masterwork shenanigans? Posted: 20 Feb 2018 07:50 AM PST I've been away from D2 for some time, for obvious reasons. However, I been having the crave for some PvP. Popping heads off with a hand cannon is still satisfying. Now I'm hearing Masterworks can be a major factor in PvP. Like you get 3% damage reduction per armor piece or some such. And you have a random roll to increase weapon range, accuracy, reload speed, etc. I'm not too sure about every little detail. Could someone fill me in? Sure, I could research it on my own, but that's no fun. I like to talk with actual people. [link] [comments]
