i've been an avid skyrim player for years, as well as a gamer in general. About a month ago i was walking around in the sierra madre casino in fallout new vegas, and i hear christine's voice for the first time, and it seems EXTREMELY familiar. i look around and only find other fallout nv characters, so i assume that's why. Fast forward to today, i don't watch anime much, and before today had only watched deathnote. I decide to start episode one of fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and start watching. Towards the end of the episode lust starts speaking, and i recognize it even more. I use the google machine, and it's FREAKING SERANA. I could feel my brain connecting the dots.

TL:DR heard a voice actress in fallout new vegas, couldn't find out why i recognized her, started watching fullmetal alchemist, hear lust's voice, go to the google machine, found out it's serana.

edit: serana was my main follower since she couldn't die and i was lazy.

Disappointed with bugs on the Switch version

I didnt' expect Bethesda to fix every bug before release, but I'm having a hard time dealing with the fact that they didn't fix any. My questlog has 2-3 "broken" entries, my inventory has 12 individual non-stacking barenziah stones. More specifically I can't believe they haven't fixed that Eldergleam tree glitch. (SPOILER: When you do the mission "right" it should replace the old tree with a young one, instead the old model stays but you can see the young one popping out of it)

Mostly, I was ok with paying 80 bucks (CAN) for a 6 year old game i've paid for twice already but expected Bethesda to meet me halfway.

I tend not to fast travel on quests or any time really. I've played long enough now so if I need to travel from say Falkreath to Windhelm or Whiterun to Markarth for example I could head there without having to consult the map.

How well do you travel around without looking at the map?

Am I doing Skyrim right?

Just started playing. Finished the Helgen cave and found a carriage and went straight to Solitude and started a quest to join the Empire.

Have to now go to Fort Hraggstad. I'm only level 2 and on the way I found these large snow cats / lions and they take me out in two hits.

Am I too low level to be doing this quest right now? I honestly have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing in this game but I really like it so far.

I love getting out of the shower, staring into the fogged up mirror, putting my hand on the mirror, and then underneath writing two words, "We know." First time I did it my mom nearly had a heart attack.
