Theorycraft Thursday - Discuss Builds, Skills, Strategies, and More! Posted: 11 Jan 2018 01:00 AM PST Welcome to Theorycraft Thursday, a community-building, regularly occurring thread in the subreddit! MMO veterans will know that Theorycrafting is the core of many discussions about this genre of games, and ESO is no different. With the high level of variance in builds, skills, and stats, there's plenty of room for Theorycrafting, and we want to see what you have to share with the community on that front. Have a build you've experimented with? A particular skill or set of skills that synergize well? A strategy for PvE or PvP that works to great effect? Share it here! If you're new, you can also use this thread to ask questions about viable builds and skills as well! As always, please keep in mind our rules on the sidebar, especially the one about 'no personal attacks, callouts, rude behavior, or other such disrespectful content'. Disagree respectfully and know that everyone has different ideas and playstyles that suit them. I was programmed to write posts automatically by /u/Woeler. What’s your favorite motif style? Posted: 10 Jan 2018 05:16 PM PST In honor and excitement of the outfit system I'm interested in seeing what motifs people like, as I'm a huge crafter. Specific pages works too, there are so many cool ones I can't even begin to list them. Trinimac swords in particular will always hold a special place in my heart. So so many of the various helmets are sweet too. What do you guys like? [link] [comments]

Implement Loadouts With the Outfit System! Posted: 10 Jan 2018 11:26 PM PST First, I want to say the new Outfit System is amazing! Thank you devs! Now that I got that out of the way. How about building upon the Outfit System in the future and allow us to save Loadouts for each Outfit. This would allow us to save a PvE Loadout to one Outfit, a PvP Outfit to another, a Questing Outfit, Trial Outfit, Roleplaying Outfit, etc. It truly would be a quality of life feature to be able to switch our Gear, Skills, Champion Points, Skill Bar, Emotes and Slotable Wheels on the fly when we press that one little Tab to switch outfits. It would be the bee's knees, possibly even the cat's pyjamas, if we could do that. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jan 2018 11:08 AM PST Is it just me or is ESO making a comeback? It seems like more and more people are playing it. I've even noticed it being watched more on twitch and youtubers gaining a lot more popularity lately. This makes me so happy because I think it's the best game out there when it comes to MMO's! :D [link] [comments]

You don't lose crown gems when seasons change, right? Posted: 11 Jan 2018 03:06 AM PST I can't imagine that they do, but I didn't bother with the crates until recently. Managed to get that Flame Atronach Guar mount, but I really want the Storm Atronach Horse or Wolf, or maybe something more ice or Templar / "Holy" themed at some point. Am I safe to just sit on the crown gems till the seasons change and the mounts I would really like to get appear? I've got 450 crown gems and I don't want to spend them on any of the fire mounts. Apologies if this has been asked before. Thank you. [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 08:07 PM PST After playing around with the outfits, all I have to say is that I was proven wrong, I went in skeptical, and it turned out pretty amazing. Thank you so much for making style motifs account wide for outfits. The gold cost to change is a bit steep for certain motifs, but not outlandish. All we need now is base weapon dyeing like with armours (you can dye and style your weapon, but it counts as part of the outfit, you can't do that with just normal dyeing. And hide Equipment Piece like the helmet option (with some of the skins, it kinda requires to go bare chested to show it off, and the bare chested styles sometimes clash with other styles.) Also being able to use some of the stuff from the costumes you own would be cool. And monster helms/shoulders... [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jan 2018 01:53 AM PST According to the rules the draw should have taken place on or around 10th Jan, just wondering if anyone has had a winning email yet? [link] [comments]
vMA is absolutely rage -inducing. Posted: 10 Jan 2018 05:40 PM PST I actually cannot get past Arena 2. Granted I'm not playing petsorc, but I find vMA to be ridiculously difficult. From my perspective unless you spend god knows how long on doing pixel perfect everything you're absolutely screwed. Only to get the weapon you don't want at the end of it all. I've spent 3 months trying to do this. What gives? Any vMA experts able to shed some light on a poor soul that feels they will never complete this trial? [link] [comments]
A couple questions from a noob Posted: 10 Jan 2018 08:53 PM PST I just realized you could steal things so I stole 2 lock boxes and got "stuffed Kwama Scrib and Rare-owl feather quill. What are these used for? They sell to shop for 100 (in a noob so 100 is kind of a lot) (also I don't know prices and am not in a guild to sell to other people). Are there any guidelines on what you should sell to people/stores? Also what's the best place to steal from? And also if I don't get detected stealing I won't have to wait the huge wait time to go back into town right? Thanks!! [link] [comments]
Posted: 11 Jan 2018 04:15 AM PST So it never seems to matter what I do, but I just can't get ahead in a bare minimum 1v1. My Templar, sorcerer, dragonknight, NB (Barely play it anyways), nothing - I always seem to be outclassed no matter the build. I build tanky to survive, I can't kill anything. I build DPS to kill, I still can't kill anything and a die even quicker. I go in between, it ends up being worse somehow. Healing is about the only thing I can't mess up. I simply cannot seem to get through peoples defenses at all, and even if I do, the fights tend to last only a few seconds. What in the world do you successful fighters do that you didn't know about early on? I've only got 414 cp, and whatever armor I tend to get/make is generally epic level. [link] [comments]
I want to see a strong magwarden Posted: 11 Jan 2018 12:16 AM PST I'm hoping they add a buff to wardens in one of the pts releases. I find the mag warden super fun to play but I just feel like I could be using something stronger. They aren't terrible but they are noticeable comparablable to mag sorc or night blade but I'm just speaking the obvious I love the warden I'd like to see them towards the top at some point [link] [comments]
The Isle of Artaeum and the War of the Daedric Princes Posted: 10 Jan 2018 07:12 PM PST It's been heavily speculated on here and other forums that the next dlc is going to be in the Summerset Isles. With the recent leak of the Ceporah Tower, this is looking to be very true. Of course, we know that it will take place on the Isle of Artaeum, the 3rd largest isle and home of the Psiijic Order. As Im sure we've all seen/heard at the end of the Orsinium dlc, The Prophet makes a statement on things to come. The quote is as follows: "A great war is coming. A war between the forces of Oblivion. The Daedric Princes are choosing sides. The great deceiver, the sewer of discord, and the patron of darkness plot a great deception. Be ready. Watch for signs. The war shall begin when the gates of Sotha Sil's lost city are re-opened. So the scrolls portend. So shall it be." This directly foreshadowed the Clockwork City dlc, but also something much more interesting: a war between the daedric princes. We have Boethiah (great deceiver), Mephala (sewer of discord) and Noctural (patron of darkness) going against the rest of them. We already know that ZOS has a dlc for Mephala's Realm of Oblivion in the works, and is more than likely gonna be coming as 3rd quarter's dlc. Even more hinting is that you can visit the Evergloam, which is Nocturnal's realm, in one of the Clockwork City dunegons. You can also get her Skeleton Key as a furnishing, I believe. In the Clockwork City quest Cog of Fate, you are able to have your future prophecised by a robot. You receive the following prophecy: "I see an island. A tower. Three princes. Darkness spreading across the land. I see a golden knight and an unexpected sacrifice. I see… an end…" This is followed by another passage saying, "Reflecting… reflecting… probabilities calculated… odds generated… demise certainty… ninety-nine point nine-nine percent. And Summerset is the sequence of the words." This prophecy backs up the rest of the informatio. We've learned. "A tower" is the Ceporah Tower on the Isle of Artaeum; "Three princes" are the Daedric Princes Boethiah, Mephala, and Nocturnal. I'm not too sure what the golden knight or unexpected sacrifice could be, but "an end" could refer to the player character's death, marking the end of DLC support for ESO. While it seems unlikely considering how much more content can be made (like Murkmire and such), it still is a possibility. I dont know about you guys, but I am hyped as hell for this. The Psijiic Order and Daedric war. That is a recipie for badassery all around. Let me know what you think and your theories on what the "golden knight" and "an end" is. [link] [comments]

Posted: 11 Jan 2018 12:02 AM PST So I have enough money to get Morrowind but I would like to get my buddy ESO so he can play with the rest of me and my friends. I can get my buddy ESO and myself Imperial city, or I can get just Morrowind. What should I do? [link] [comments] |
