I've had this happen a few times, and at this point I have to think it's the developers having a laugh.

You're walking/running and you hear someone nearby, but you look around and there is no one nearby. Just had this happen in a field where I could hear someone running near me, and when I stopped they actually walked right around me as if to get my reaction. I spun shooting with the Uzi just to see if hits would land on the ghost.

But there was no one there.

Have seen this a few times now and it's rather perturbing.
