PUBG Feedback on Miramar

Feedback on Miramar

Posted: 17 Jan 2018 11:24 PM PST

EDIT: Thank you all for your generous and detailed responses! They are greatly appreciated. We will be closing the form in about 4 hours from now, at 10am PST / 7PM CET. Any additional feedback can be left as comments to this post.

Hi everyone. We know that the main concerns of our community right now are reducing the amount of cheaters and implementing a ping lock and we are working on those issues. But while that is being worked on, we are asking for feedback on Miramar because we have already seen what some of you have been saying about our new map on different channels. Some of you are happy about the differences that Miramar offers compared to Erangel, while others say that they want to see a few things tweaked so that the experience is more similar to that of Erangel. We have play data and stats that allows us to make comparisons and gain insights but we want to do qualitative analysis as well. On top of all the feedback we have collected so far, we would like to use the form linked below to gather more feedback on specific topics. As we've built the game based on observations and feedback from you, we would like to do the same for Miramar to fine-tune it.

I had a Gentlemen's Duel with some poor unlooted soul. Hadn't experienced anything like this in ~400 hours of this game!

PUBG sucks at the moment.

Weapons not behaving like they used to, ridiculous influx of cheaters (ironically now confirmed by deathcam) and blowing up hitting small rocks with vehicles has made this incredibly un-fun in solo mode. Not to mention the mid game now being dull.

I've just been killed by a guy with a Chinese name, literally spinning around shooting through walls and taking people out. This is getting ridiculous. This is the 3rd (out of 5 games) time today I've been killed by a hacker with a Chinese name. Sort this shit out Bluehole.

Dear Blue Hole, could you please make a weekly post with a list of the issues you are aware of and have already been a topic in this channel so we don ´t bomb you with the same suggestions over and over again?

I think this could be extremely useful for both developers and users in order to "clean up" this channel a little bit from repeated topics. It could be just a simple plain list of topics you are aware of and that wouldn't mean devs agree with them or are going to solve them but instead that they are taking in count.

IMO, adding an offline shooting range would improve early, mid, and late game experience.

Currently, anyone who has done any research whatsoever on ways to improve their PUBG skills is aware that the most recommended current practice method is to "drop hot".

This means places like school are filled with 2 types of players. Those that want the action, and are skilled enough to actually enjoy dropping hot, and potatoes that get in the way and then clutter the area with our corpses and loot boxes (that contain an unloaded pistol and the white shirt we accidentally picked up instead of the ammo).

If they added an offline way to practice, I think (in theory) you would have players more spread out on the map because fewer players would be dropping hot just to practice. I think this could improve mid and late game, and with more skilled players in the hot zone, it also improves the battle there.

School would still be school, but I know I wouldn't be going there to die 50 times every day.

How is this even possible in a game? Does the game have no rules in its code?
