Item Discussion of the Day: Hand of Midas (January 17th, 2018) Posted: 17 Jan 2018 01:53 PM PST Hand of Midas Preserved through unknown magical means, the Hand of Midas is a weapon of greed, sacrificing animals to line the owner's pockets. Cost Components Bonus 500 Gloves of Haste +20 Attack Speed 1650 Recipe N/A — — — 2150 Hand of Midas +30 Attack speed, Ability: Transmute Active ability: Transmute Kills a non-hero target for 200 gold and 1.85x experience. Cannot be used on Ancient Creeps. Cooldown: 100 Seconds Cast range: 600 Gold bonus: 200 gold Experience Bonus Multiplier: 185% Upon cast, kills the target unit instantly and grants the caster 200 reliable gold and 185% of the target's experience bounty. The target's default bounties are not granted. This means that no hero nearby gains the default gold and experience from the death. Despite the visual effects, the gold and experience are granted instantly. Deals damage equal to the target's current health to kill it. This damage fully ignores any form of reduction or amplification. This means that it triggers most on-damage events like (neutral or lane) creep aggro. Cannot be cast on wards, buildings, ancient creeps, or Necronomicon summons. Recent Changelog: 7.06 Increased recipe cost from 1550 to 1650 (total cost from 2050 to 2150). Transmute Increased experience from 175% to 185%. Reduced gold bonus from 220 to 200. 7.05 Transmute Increased gold bonus from 190 to 220. Reduced experience from 250% to 175%. I hate it when people report you for just being bad at the game Posted: 18 Jan 2018 07:46 AM PST I am ranked archon two, and I play alot of ranked and sometimes I play in a lane where the other person is just better I end up with a few deaths and by the end of the match we have lost and I didn't manage to grab a few items, or I have a few more deaths then others, even just putting a ward in the wrong spot sometimes. Boom two weeks later your in low priority, I say nothing toxic anymore I don't intentionally feed and I try to work with the team when they request ganks, wards, tangos etc. But we all got to be so damn toxic if someone's bad you report them... I've been playing since 2011 so I get it. It's shitty when your good and someone who is bad drags the whole team down, but one bad player doesn't lose the game (I know because I've been on games where someone was trash and the other four still swamped 4v5 or 4v6 however you want to look at it). I know posting this probably won't improve the dota community just food for thought, I don't mind classic dota banter just save your reports for intentionally feeders please and thankyou. PSA for anyone who's gotten an Aegis delivery notice from GLS but has no idea where it is Posted: 18 Jan 2018 04:58 AM PST So yesterday I got a delivery notice from GLS that my Aegis had been delivered to my local drop off point. They somehow forgot to mention exactly where this drop off point is located and GLS themselves do not even have any own drop off points here in Sweden. I however did manage to figure it out, but I thought I'll share the steps since it was hardly as straight forward as it should be. Go to https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/gls-partner-sweden and choose your country to find out which company GLS partners with in your area. (DB Schenker in Sweden) Then go to https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking and enter the tracking number that you got in the email from CMD Collectibles (aegissupport@cmdcollectibles.com). In my case there was a Swedish Parsel Number listed under shipment information, so I'm guessing there should be something similar for other countries. Go to the drop off point and give them that number, and hopefully they'll have your package. Note that I could not use the parcel number to find it on DB Schenker's website, but I could use it to retrieve the package at the drop off point.
