So there I was, chugging across the plateau between San Martin and Pecado on Miramar. It had been a slow start to the game and I had no kills and no chance at a long range fight.

As I jogged towards Pecado, I heard it - the buzz of a motorbike. I ducked into a house and poked my head out to watch a heavily kitted out #unknown speed past me from the Power Grid, headed down towards Pecado. I briefly considered spraying some shots at him and praying to the RNG gods for a lucky hit, but by the time I had my gun trained on him he was long gone.

Unperturbed, I continued chugging in his wake towards Pecado, but as I jumped down a rock, I saw it - the crate of a dead player.

I was instantly suspicious. There was no sign of a body, no recent gunfire, nothing. But I hadn't had a good run so far, so I ran over to loot it regardless, cringing in anticipation for the inevitable camping sniper to end my sorry life in the same way this poor soul had.

I opened #unknown's crate and was even more suspicious. He had high level equipment, two 8x scopes, and a huge amount of health items, which I stole. Who would down another player and not loot his stuff? Who was inevitably moving towards me, my head in his sights? I quickly finished looting and jumped down the cliff towards Pecado, when I saw it.

#unknown's motorbike.

About 20 metres in front of him, on its side, chugging idly to itself.

#unknown had been a victim of his own motorbike.

Drive safely on Miramar kids. Or you'll end up like #unknown.

Daily reminder that the 8x scope resets the magnification when you change weapon.

The 8x scope should hold the magnification you set it to. Just because i'm switching between my primary AR and back to my sniper should not reset this.

Kill of the Week?

I think it would be awesome if players could vote on the Kill of the Week from user submitted kills. Then that kill could be pinned to the front page of the subreddit. Thoughts?

Suggested format: Vote Saturday-Thursday, winner pinned every Friday.

Edit: u/frasse21 suggested the idea of not just kill of the Week but more-so, Play of the Week. So what that could look like would be videos not only including a kill, or multiple kills, but also great vehicle stunts, or even clever uses of the replay feature to make cinematic videos.

Would anyone be interested with another gun that will take 7.62 ammo that can also take all attachments? Apart from the stock perhaps. We already have a the M16, M416, Scar-L, and the AUG now and we only really have the AKM for the 7.62 variant. I would love more options for weapons in the 7.62 category that aren't an LMG, or DMR/Sniper type weapon.

The 2x would be more feasible if the lens didn't obscure so much of the inside of the scope

I'll always drop it for a 4x and otherwise use a red dot or holographic in its place if I can because the range at which it's most practical is such a narrow gap between a red dot or holographic's and a 4x that I'll never pay it any attention unless I have no other sights.

I actually think it's a great sight, but I just really dislike the amount of scope that takes up my fov within the scope itself.
