| XB1 Controller left stick issue in GTA V only Posted: 19 Jan 2018 08:05 AM PST I'm using the xbone controller, the one that needs dongle to be wirelessly connected to windows pc. However, I'm using it via usb cable. The issue here is interesting and it only happens on gta v game, i.e : whenever push forward on the Left stick, for example whilst driving a bike, the controller will immediately pull left or right. I've checked the data being output from the controller movement by using a simple windows app "game controller tester" and other 3rd party applications, and there are no anomalies whatsoever that proves that my controller has stick drift or any other issue. Furthermore, while having the game in background, i.e, putting gta v in borderless and then bringing up another window to the front, if i push the LS forward, it doesn't pull left or right. So in conclusion, this issue only happens to me when the gtav.exe is in focus. TL;DR : xbone controller's Left Stick pulls left or right completely after a little delay, when pushed forward. This anomaly only happens when the game is in focus. It doesn't happen in any other game. P.S: I tried to do something about the firmware by trying to open up the Xbox accessories, but unfortunately I'm stuck in infinite loop. I have reinstalled my windows and got the latest version but that infinite loop in xbox accessories still persists. [link] [comments]  |
