I’ve been a long time fan of Diablo
New to diablo 3. Playing as a necromancer with a friend and have a few questions.

((played diablo 2 + exp when I was age 10+). I just started to play Diablo3 + exp (bought last Christmas when it went on sale) and man I really love it. I really liked the storyline, characters in diablo2. But boy when I tried Diablo3, everything became so much beautiful. The gameplay, plot, characters, character design, environment etc, etc. It makes me wanna "Talk" to everyone in "towns" and get all the Journals you pick up in the battlefield. Everything makes it an awesome Diablo universe

So how do weapons work in this game for my class? I know I use intelligence for my strength attribute, but when it comes to weilding a weapon what do the stats do? For example, right now I'm using a short sword with a damage of 19 plus 2-3 damage as a magic property. I don't use my sword though so I don't get it. All I use are magic spells. Does the damage output on my weapon affect the damage done by my spells? What weapons should a necromancer even be using?

Secondly when it comes to coop, how does loot sharing work? Does it just randomly give it to player 1 or player 2? Like even legendary gear? Is it balanced and fair that way? Or should my friend and I decide who picks up legendary gear?

Diablo (Nintendo 64 version)

so as we know from this news post that Nintendo of Japan had atleast recieved the rights to the game and that there was supposedly a version of the game in dev. in '97 for the Nintendo 64 DD. My question is: if it was cancelled due to the failing of the 64DD system, why couldn't whomever was porting the game to the N64 just use a typical cartrdige (like Banjo Tooie had done, along with other 64DD to Nintendo 64 games had done) ?

Based on how the game is very little in the way of models, it would be fantastic to see this be ported over unofficially to the Nintendo 64 now (with flashcarts among us and whatnot) --- thoughts on this

360 controller on PC

Anyone play with a 360 controller on PC from time to time? A year ago I was able to use things like Joy2Key, Xpadder, etc to get it working fine. IDK if it's Win10, D3, my controller, or what, but any key I bind to the "A" button also activates the in-game chat.

No other keys on the controller seem to have this problem, the controller works great in other games, and I'd never had this issue before. Anyone ever see something like this before or have any idea what might cause it?

How do you name your characters?

After playing a barb this season named "Tempus" I decided it'd be fun to name all my characters after gods from the Forgotten Realms pantheon. I'm still planning so if you're a FR fan and have suggestions for fitting deity/class combos, I'd like to hear them.

So how do you name your roster? Completely random? Common theme?

Hi everyone,

I love to play DH and as you know there is no place for DHs in the current meta :)

Therefore I'm looking for some people I can do non-meta GRs with. The goal is to play your favorite character instead of having to play what the meta tells you to play.

Anyone else having trouble with constant crashing?

Anytime I load a character for the first time in awhile, or try to enter an area, I get a "There was an error." message, and then get booted to the login screen with a "Failure to connect" message. It's always happened a bit but lately I can't even play the game. Anyone else having this issue?
