| [ART] Compilation of my Art- BDO Character Portraits Posted: 19 Jan 2018 05:38 PM PST Hello there BDO community! Today I am sharing the work I have done over the course of 1 year of play. The art is not in order of when it was made. Some of the work was free, others were commissions. I made most of them for free for my old guildmates. Either way I enjoyed working on them, making people happy with the art I make of their character is part of what makes being an artist rewarding :) Quicknote: If you want your character drawn, feel free to post pictures (good ones, not some small low res image) I will draw a few of them for free, others that want more than just a sketch will have to contact me for a full commission. | Posted: 20 Jan 2018 02:54 AM PST Is anyone having server lag, rollbacks and disconets? i cant play for a week. Im even thinking chaning ISP. What can i do? i tried everything from reinstaling drivers to game and the only thing left to do is a clean windows instal but i dont want to lose my work and time. | PSA : Pause Windows Insider Builds Posted: 20 Jan 2018 05:18 AM PST Build 17074 was just pushed out to all insiders as a prerelease flight (as in its considered production ready) on 19Jan2018. Xigncode3 is not updated to run on it yet since it was only released to the fast ring on the 18th. If you update to it you will not be able to launch the game no matter what you do to try to fix the error "Failed to init security." If you missed this warning and updated you just have to roll back to your previous build which is under the recovery options. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 20 Jan 2018 07:27 AM PST So I decided not to buy a DUO Liverto off the market because PRI and DUO upgrades are comparably easier to do. That saved me around 100mil silver for upgrading to DUO. Is 100 Mil enough for Sharp Crystal shards and Memory Fragments? I have nothing to compare because this is my first big enhancment.. Should I buy Accessories and melt them for shards or should I straight up buy them? Is there a better way to get my Liverto to DUO? I dont want to grind for shards again. Thanks in advance! I own a Lenovo Legion Y720 with a i7-7700HQ 2.8GHZ (Turbo 3.8GHz) an 1060 6GB (NOn Mag Q), 16 GB Ram DDR4. I was wondering how should I optimize my graphics in the game to get a stable 60 FPS when Grinding World Bosses/Grinding in general and would also be nice to have 60 in Towns. | Magic Damage, Melee and Ranged - A Balance Suggestion Posted: 19 Jan 2018 06:23 PM PST So because I hate myself I went out and wrote a thing with my ideas / opinions. THEN I'm linking it here so that more people have access to flame me about how stupid I am. Here's the link to the post on the BDO Suggestions thread: https://community.blackdesertonline.com/index.php?threads/melee-and-ranged-magic-damade-balance-ideas.141474/ Here's the Text of the post: I know there's probably a lot of balance 'suggestions' or 'rants' going through here but hear me out, this one is simple, reasonable, and it makes sense to me. The Striker and Mystic are incredibly strong against magic damage classes. And then someone says 'but they were implemented to counter the witch/wizard meta' or something. Were they? Or is that coincidental? Anyway, that's fine. But why are they also resistant to Melee Magic Damage? As far as I can see that means these two new classes actually counter Sorceress and Tamer far harder than any other classes because not only are sorc/tamer magic damage classes but they're melee AND squishy. So they have to become very vulnerable in order to do their damage, on the flip side of that they theoretically should get more reward from actually doing that damage! But they don't really in general and vs Striker and Mystics it's genuinely pathetic. That would also be fine if these two, or even one of them was a top tier class, like witch or wizard, meta defining class. But they're not they're both pretty meh even discounting the existence of Striker and Mystic. Now they're down there with the Musa pretty much, except he at least has physical damage vs Striker and Mystic. Imagine if the Tamer or Sorceress were released next? There would be outcry at how weak the new class is, for sure. So yeah that's it. TL;DR: Striker/Mystic should not have their stupidly high magic resistance to melee and ranged, only ranged. Yet this thread of purify being shit on was left up to just drop down until it was over with. Even the joe videos have just stood up there until it fell down. Showing favoritism mods?
