Call of Duty: WWII PC Community Update on Missing Winter Bribes and Enforcement on Cheaters |
PC Community Update on Missing Winter Bribes and Enforcement on Cheaters Posted: 13 Jan 2018 09:18 PM PST Hey everyone, We have a couple community updates for you. As you know, there was an issue with the Winter Bribes missing for PC during our Winter Siege event. During the event, we looked into the issue and were not able to find a way to fix this before the event ended. In the days since the event has ended, we have been trying to find a way to retroactively make this right, and we haven't been able to find a good solution in the short term. We know this is disappointing, and we apologize that this is the case. What we can tell you is that we have worked and coordinated with all teams to make sure this doesn't happen again for future events. We know this might not be what you wanted to hear, but that's the update on the situation. Some good news regarding the cheaters and hackers in the game: As some of you have begun to notice, we have increased our efforts and escalated cases to the appropriate groups in situations where enforcement on hacking/cheating behavior are beyond our reach. We have also been taking extra measures to prevent hackers/cheaters from bypassing some of our previous enforcement measures. We hope this will improve the overall game experience for the PC community. Thanks, everyone, and please stay tuned for more PC updates coming soon. |
