[Community Raid] US Horde Normal ABT Learning Raids - Multiple Days/Times available starting 12/29/17 - AOTC runs starting soon!

Hello all! It's your friendly neighborhood Prot Warrior Toombz here. We at ARD are organizing MULTIPLE Community Learning Raids for Normal Antorus, ABT starting at TODAY, 12/29 at 7pm EST. These raids are for US-Horde. The instructions to attend this raid are below, so please read the whole post!

If you are new to ARD or Community Raid events, these are FREE! Groups are organized by experienced ARD raiders and follow the ARD policy of "No Douche Canoes". You can expect a helpful and friendly environment, fight explanations, a good bit of joking around, and an overall great experience. ARD Community Raids last for 2-3 hours typically and go as far as you can. You should come prepared and know the fights as best you can.

If you've ever wanted to do a PUG but were afraid of toxicity, this is a great place to start as our community is built around a very simple premise: NO DOUCHE CANOES. ARD started from a single Reddit post, and now we have multiple Mythic and Heroic Raiding teams running all throughout the week and weekend. We've been doing community runs of current content since October of last year, and in that process, have gotten over 2000 raiders their AOTCs, all free of charge! We love meeting new people who like our philosophy, so if this sounds like something you can get behind, we would love to have you join a community raid!

As a side note, I believe we will be starting an AOTC push soon for ABT. If you're looking to get your achievement and don't want to spend Gold or Money on it, check out the Discord as runs for that should be starting soon.

Upcoming Schedule (These are all on the calendar):

  • Pregame Raid 7pm EST – 10pm EST 12/29/17
  • The Shrubbery Community Run 9:30pm EST – 11:30pm EST 12/29/17
  • The Drunk Raid – No sign up required, just be in Discord when it starts (this raid does old stuff, and does not usually accomplish much other than having a good time and having a few drinks) 10pm EST 12/29/17
  • Saturday Night Raid 10pm EST – 1am EST 12/30/17
  • New Year's Eve World Tour – Doing old raids, having fun, singing songs! 7pm EST 12/31/17
  • Bob Evan's Community Raid – 8pm EST – 11pm EST 1/1/18

We recommend for these runs (The Normal Antorus Ones):

  • An iLvl of 920 or higher
  • Food/Flasks/Pots/Coins (we can usually provide feasts and cauldrons but just in case you should bring your own)
  • DBM and Discord (Discord is required as we do all invites through it. Plus our Discord is a fun time!) ARD Discord: https://discord.gg/pAgx7aR
  • A Positive Attitude! We might wipe and that is okay! We are a community that is very friendly (no one will ever yell at you for making a mistake) and we only have one major rule: NO DOUCHE CANOES. You either get it and love it, or ARD isn't the right place for you.

To attend:

  • Post in this thread with what you want to bring and the days you'd like to attend!
  • Go to our Guilded.GG Site and find the raid you want on the calendar: http://www.guilded.gg/#V279OopR You will either need to RSVP or fill out the Google Doc attached to the raid.
  • Be on Discord at least 30 minutes before the start of the raid.

Join the community earlier if you want as well. Instructions for the raid will be in General Chat before the group forms. We welcome everyone who can follow the NO DOUCHE CANOE rule.

If these times don't work out for you, we have other events, including Mythic Plus groups and RBG groups that are running. Everything is really handled out of the Discord, so join up, say hello, and be ready to make some new friends!

Is it possible to find the filename of a specific sound inside WoW if you know the sound's ID? I am trying to find the file(s) for the new Riptide sound(s). According to WoWhead's sound database it's: http://www.wowhead.com/sound=90162/spell-sh-revamp-riptide-impact

But after digging in CASC view for hours I could not find a file named spell_sh_revamp_riptide_impact anywhere. I also looked through the other Shaman spells, but nothing there either. However, the ID provided by WoWhead for the sound (90162) is correct. If you type /script PlaySound(90162) in game it will play one of the sound variations for the spell. I found a few documentations which show filenames of sounds by ID, but 90162 was not among them.

Any idea where can I find a complete list of all sound IDs with their corresponding filenames or at least a good way to find this specific sound? If a sound exists in game, then it's supposed to be discoverable through CASCView.

Hey there people, I've been thinking about doing some of the mage towers with my alts (i have all 12 classes) but most of them are undergeared, do you guys reccomend a certain ilvl, can i do all of them without specific legendaries? (i've been trying my second main's, druid tank, but without something to make my trash area bigger, its kinda hard as hell) any tips? any challenges that i should try first that are kinda easier?

Demon Hunter weapons in BfA?

I'm curious, I've seen a lot of gameplay of the demo of BfA back at Blizzcon, but I can't find any videos of someone who created a demon hunter on those servers. If anyone was there personally, or knows about a video, I'd love to see it. I want to see if they added new glaives or if they spawned in with swords/axes.
