Posted: 22 Dec 2017 05:59 AM PST I have an inkling that this hero is incredibly strong this patch in the offlane, but a couple of things happen when I play with her that I don't know how to deal with 1) Taking the T1 is really easy. I soak exp until I'm level 3, then i simply cut waves and dodge through the trees for the next 5 minutes. If anyone who is killable shows up and I have spiders, I kill them. I can get this tower by 9-11 minutes 2) Once the T1 is gone, I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm playing offlane so I have access to the entire safe farm camp, but taking the T2 feels a lot harder. A couple of things happen every single brood offlane game I try to play that I don't know how to deal with a) 3-5 people show up to defend the T2, then they push the wave out all the way until our T1/T2 bottom, then I have to repush. My instinct is that I'm actually supposed to web all the way behind the T2 until the T3 but I always end up webbing their jungle to farm it. If I do that repushing the lane is a lot harder and I end up dying more. b) My team doesn't really use the space I create when YOLO pushing and I keep missing timings where it seems like the enemy team always has time to defend my push and then TP and stop the counter push. Should I just be farming jungle and pushing exclusively when my team is pushing too? c) I don't really have a guage of what cores I can solo kill and what items to go. I mainly have been following a treads - mask of madness - desolator build but I realize that build is for mid brood. For offlane i'm not entirely sure mask of madness is great but I'm not sure what middle of the road items to go. I remember there was a huge writeup on offlane brood from a brood spammer who played it every single game and had an 80% winrate or something ridiculous and I can't find it at all... if anyone has tips or a link to it, it would be much appreciated. Regarding Medusa's lategame lifegain options Posted: 22 Dec 2017 08:21 AM PST Hi, just curious if octarine core is a possible pickup for medusa at lategame with her level 25 talent + mjollnir, instead of MoM or other lifesteal, purely for lifegain purposes. Let's talk about Phantom Assassin's dagger: Posted: 21 Dec 2017 09:01 PM PST Alright then, I need to get this shit out: Which fucking genius in Valve looked at PA's dagger, which is a 50% slow for 4 seconds, has a cooldown of 6 seconds, negligible mana cost and a massive range, and was like, you know what, this shit is too weak: 'Let's make it do a real physical attack which carries any of PA's on-hit effects. yea that sounds like a good idea'. And then some other guy with more than 7 brain cells was like 'Doesn't that mean late-game PA has a 1200 range, 6 second cooldown, 4 second slow with negligible manacost spell that occasionally hits 1000 damage? That doesn't seem balanced' and the first guy was like 'Nah that shit sounds balanced' and fucking everyone else in the room was like 'Yea good fucking idea Greg that sounds balanced'. Why was this implemented? I wasn't playing back in 6.87, but was PA so bad back then that she needed to gain literally the most broken spell in the game?
