| Posted: 23 Dec 2017 07:59 PM PST Reposting the deleted sf3 posts. Hey guys, I want to share some very disappointing news and I'm asking everyone here who is on my side to help. I've been posting on SF3 Reddit regularly (https://www.reddit.com/r/sf3/). The Content is all 3rd strike related, educational, and about community buildling. Includes videos on tech, fightcade/offline tournaments, and 3s news in and outside of Japan. The problem is this. The sole moderator is buttfork. (https://www.reddit.com/user/buttfork) . This guy's banned me shortly after these events. During the rankings on Thursday Night of 12/21/2017. Buttfork goes on fightcade and says: "ac-slayer play me please!" I respond on stream by saying: "Sure man, let's play after the rankings. Add me on discord. You're from reddit right?" He responds: "Yes I am from reddit" The very next day, I see him on fightcade and I challenge him. I beat him 3x and he leaves, no ggs,. So whatever, I don't think much of it. But I proceed to ask him why he left since he was adamant on playing me? He says " i have to go eat ggs" Then at 10PM PST the same night he bans me from particpating on reddit. (https://i.imgur.com/kHF4W8C.png) I haven't violated any reddit policies. It's just this mod is salty from losing only 3 matches to me on fightcade. I'm unsure what to do because I really enjoy posting content (3rd strike related) and I am extremely disappointed that someone who is never even active (online or offline) for the subreddit , and behaves this immature, is the same guy who controls what content is allowed or not allowed for 3rd strike. Does anyone know buttfork? What can we do to rightfully reinstate my account status? I'm very upset about this. Please help me brothers!!! Rally against this injustice! | Help, Hadoken Execution Timing Question Posted: 24 Dec 2017 03:23 AM PST I am learning ryu's hadoken. Am I supposed to press "punch" at the same time as "forward" or after "forward"? Like, is it: qcf + p or qcf > p If I press punch too fast it often doesn't register so I don't understand why that is. Also, I heard that you are not supposed to "grind the gate". As in, your joystick shouldn't be touching the restrictor gate, which is very close to touching if I pushed far enough for it to register. Should I practice not to touch the gate? | Survival Advice for Kolin and Menat? Posted: 24 Dec 2017 09:10 AM PST After hearing about the changes to fight money coming in SFV: Arcade Edition, I thought I should get a move on with survival mode before it stops giving fight money. I'd already done easy survival with everyone, and normal survival with most characters before the announcement, and I now only have Kolin and Menat left to do normal survival with. However, I'm concerned that I won't be able to do it with these two, since I didn't beat easy survival first time with them (Admittedly, I didn't win easy survival with Zeku first time either, but that's because I got cocky and used the double down that doubles your opponent's strength on the final round. I did it second try with him.) I was wondering if anyone has any advice that might help with these characters before I give it a try? I haven't done hard or extreme with anyone either, and I most likely won't do those in time with anyone. I've tried hard with a few characters, and I lost in the early 30s with everyone I tried. The furthest I've gotten is Round 42 with Rashid's HK Eagle Spike trick. I haven't touched extreme. [link] [comments]  | ||
