Turn NPCs into bears without breaking everything Posted: 08 Dec 2017 07:34 PM PST Strange question, I know. My little brother is starting to play Skryim, so, as a brotherly prank, I'll jump on his game every now and then when he's not home and put his character in an odd spot surrounded with bizarre scenarios. A cheese wheel throne on a mountaintop, etc. He hasn't caught on yet, so I'd like to take it a bit further. Right now he's on the quest with Neloth in the Dragonborn DLC. I'd like to turn Neloth into a polar bear. I've changed his Race in the Creation Kit to "BearSnowRace." Although Neloth still paths and emotes correctly (which is HILARIOUS), I can't interact with him, nor does he cast any spells. Is there a way I can add the ability to be able to interact with an NPC in "animal" form, and give them the ability to use their normal spells? I think this is due to them not having an interact or spell casting animation. [link] [comments]

My Skyrim character has the most unhappy love life... Posted: 08 Dec 2017 08:04 AM PST So, I have met this Camilla Valerius girl in Riverwood. Young, fine lass, she had plenty of adorators. But deep inside, she was unhappy... Who wouldn't be? She was young, ambitious, a dreamer. And yet she was stuck in this shithole of a village running a shop with her brother. The shop had no perpectives of development, every time she expressed her plans to make it something greater than it was, her brother shut her down and quite convincingly so. Aaaand her adorators were two resentful low-brows willing to resort to the lowest shit possible just to get her. A wonderful woman condemned to live a pathetic life. The moment i have met her, I knew I have to get her out of there, to give her at least a chance to feel happy in her life. This was love as true as love can be, not this possesive bullshit that either Faendal or Sven had for her. I have prayed to Mother Mara, proposed and married Camilla. She was so happy, I knew that was the best thing i have ever done in my life. Seriously, recovering a lost Elder Scroll or bitch-slapping the shit out of Alduin pales in comparison to making someone happy. Funny thing- most of the adventurous types get it sooner or later and settle down getting a stable job of a guard, which fits their martial talents pretty well. She has always wanted to see the big world, so I knew I have to give her this opportunity. I bought a wonderful house in the capital, the Proudspire Manor. I bought all the best furniture for this place, payed by the countless hours spent over the anvil and selling the best bows i could make all over the Skyrim. Finally my beloved Camilla could live as she has always wanted to. And being an industrious woman, she set up a shop, now with no dubass brother to hold her back. And she loved me back. Cooked for me, called me her love, sharing her hard-earned money with me. But you know what? It did not feel right. Wondering the world with my BFF Lydia, doing shiit with her, and only coming to see my little dove every now and then. That is what felt like being a terrible husband and i have decided to fix this. To do something truely for her I HAVE SULLIED MY HANDS BY JOINING THE THIEVES FROM RIFETN FOR HER. I HAVE TRACKED DOWN EVERY SINGLE STONE OF BARENZIAH FOR HER. AND I GOT ALL THE GEMS I COULD GET, JUST FOR HER! And every little gem i brought to her, just to show her that i love her. And this was my undoing.... I have dropped so many tiny shiny expressions of love in front of her, that now i cannot see her anymore. Every time i try to go to my house and tell her that i love her, i get a massive frame drop, followed by an almost instant crash to desktop. We are separated forever. I will never see my maiden fair again... And you know what is the worst thing? That piece of shit Faendal comes TO MY VERY HOUSE AND SEES HER EVERY TIME HE DAMN PLEASES. I do not want to know what is going on in Proudspire Manor when he visits her. My heart bleeds from a mere thiought. Ulfric is right. We need to get Skyrim rid of these elves. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Dec 2017 03:11 AM PST I'm pretty new to Skyrim. I was cleaning out some boxes in my closet a couple months ago and found a copy of Skyrim for 360. I've never played it before, and a work buddy who's a big fan gave me an old 360 and encouraged me to give it a whirl. So I have been, and it's pretty fun. Currently level 48. Anyway, I'm getting pretty frustrated with how buggy the game is, even with the all the patches and DLC installed. Quests don't work, game crashes, Whirlwind Sprint gets me stuck in terrain, all kinds of nonsense. My housemate is defending how buggy the game is with the following arguments, which I believe are complete nonsense:
So uh.. is there any truth to any of that? Or is it total horseshit and Skyrim on the 360 is a normal RPG that's buggy as fuck because Bethesda had a shitty QA team and then they never gave enough of a shit to fix anything later on? Regardless, this game is pretty goddamn fun, haha. I just joined the bard's college, and now I'm gonna go see if I can't find some crazy shit called The Black Star. Woohoo! [link] [comments]

I'm in Ps4 btw, so this isn't done by console commands. Quite a funny bug. [link] [comments]
