TIL (well, actually last night) that if you kill your wife/husband and use Dead Thrall on them then every time you enter a town, you’ll receive inheritance from a courier. And this will happen every time they die and you “resuscitate” them!

Margret in Markarth can be saved!

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 01:53 AM PST

I reached Markarth today and there came the forsworn murder and murdered her. it is my first time playing through this game (one of the best games I have played!) and I thought it is a necessary scripted event so didn't bother to try to save her. The guard asked me to mind my own business and I am a member of the dark brotherhood so....fastforward, after dozens of guards I died. My save was before Margret dying so I went there again and she died again. But this time I noticed that the guy was coming from a distance and I could have killed him. I reloaded and guess what, I backstabbed him right then and there and Margret was saved!

Anxiety is like when video game combat music is playing but you can't find any enemies.

My sister knows how much I like to play Skyrim, so she made me a sweet loot chest.

Is it worth my mage becoming a vampire?

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 05:29 AM PST

hey guys, recently being playing a pure mage altmer build and im loving it. Focusing heavily on alteration (no armor), conjuration and destruction, but no illusion due to me having done a sneak illusion build before (im also using enchanting, tiny bits of restoration and some sneak). Is it worth becoming a vampire? as far as I'm aware most of the benefits would be for illusion which therefore makes vampirism redundant. Are there any benefits that would help my character?
