Do nodes have a fixed amount of resources you can gather from them?

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 07:38 PM PST

I feel like I'm getting less resources with full stamina when I can 1 hit things as opposed to 2 hitting them with low stamina

Zombie spawning mechanics near water?

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 11:54 PM PST

So i wasn't able to find a clear answer any where so far about zombie spawning mechanics. My question is can they spawn underwater during a blood moon horde? I found a very interesting road that stretches almost a mile out into a lake (like a huge bridge) and i wonder if it's safe to build there and still get blood moon hordes. I don't want them spawning under the water, but rather on the road infront of or behind the base. How will this work?

Bloodmoon ended early? Don't count on it if you quit and save.[PC]

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 08:58 PM PST

I was ready for my day 28 bloodmoon horde. My base had been a bit weak, but I held out and was pleasantly surprised at around 4:30am when I went from 'hunted' to 'undetected' and ta-da- the horde attack was over. Yay!

I quit the game at this nice save point, but when I came back, so did the horde.

The returning waves were pretty tough- it was like I'd turned the clock back or something.

Anyway, if your horde ends early, don't quit and expect to be safe the next time you log in.

[Recruiting] [AeF] Aetherfract [EU/ENG]

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 01:06 PM PST

Aetherfract is a laid back, battle ready, community involved gaming group. Founded in Black Desert Online, it underwent a series of major changes, eventually deviating from its roots as a simple club to become a cross-gaming community by establishing domains across different games. Due to its unique formation and vision, Aetherfract breaks away from the stereotype of common organization structure. Bound by their mutual love for online gaming, Aetherfract will continue to establish game domains in the future and will stand firm and stay strong in the years to come. Together, as one group, as one family, it will reach for higher limits. Aether originated from the Greek word Αιθήρ, the material that fills the region of the universe above the terrestrial sphere. The concept of aether was used in several theories to explain several natural phenomena, such as the traveling of light and gravity. In Greek mythology, it was thought to be the pure essence that the gods breathed, filling the space where they lived, analogous to the air breathed by mortals. Fract derives from 'fractal' which is simply explained a never-ending pattern. They are infinitely complex patterns that are self-similar across different scales, the images of dynamic systems. Fractals possess the same properties at any scale, that is to say they have the same shape, whether seen from close or from far. "Fract" was added for group emphasis and mutual respect. Aetherfract is a blend of both casual and hardcore to experience the best out of interaction and competition. This also ensures that any type of player can be a part of Aetherfract, and that whether we accept them or not depends entirely on how they present their selves to us. On a final note, even though Aetherfract incorporates two forms of play style, we intend to make a mark on teamplay. Aetherfract continues to think of ways to improve itself and polish what it already has. We are organized in a way that every member's input - regardless of status - is heard and valued. Aetherfract does not condone the use of destructive programs and hacks that tend to destroy the balance and integrity of a game. Any member caught cheating will be dealt with accordingly. For the sake of better member interaction and proper management, Aetherfract has two methods of accepting new members: either by applying for guild membership or through invitation. Aetherfract is generally a passive and peaceful social group. It will try to form good ties with others outside the circle and it will not instigate fights or anything that incites flames within the community. Any issues that may arise concerning other guilds will be handled maturely and through reasoned discussion. However, in the spirit of competition, there will be certain exceptions.

  1. Treat everyone in Aetherfract as family

  2. Impose self-discipline

  3. Don't instigate a fight

  4. Loyalty to Aetherfract

  5. Settle arguments maturely and exercise proper decorum

  6. Stay active. Inform Aetherfract if you're going to hibernate

  7. Participate. Don't be anti-social

  8. Respect yourself, and the people around you

  9. Follow the rules of the game and the forums

  10. Never settle for mediocrity - aim for the skies !

We currently have 11 game servers running.

  1. Squad

  2. 7D2D

  3. Blackwake

  4. Ark

  5. Conan Exiles

  6. Dark&Light

  7. Medieval Engineers

How to hide?

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 12:15 PM PST

Hey,

I just started playing this game and no matter what I do at night the zombies always go aggro and start dismantling my hideouts.

I tried turning everything off and sitting quietly in a hole, but even then they ran into me.

If you guys could give me some noob tips that would be nice :)

Upcoming Content

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 09:43 AM PST

Merry holidays survivors.

I've been following the update videos but haven't seen anything about water content. Does anyone know if there will be a simple raft or boat added in the next update?

With water covering so much of the random gen maps it would be great to be able to traverse it with cargo, or speed.

Dovyou think it would make avoiding zombies too easy? Or could there be a way to balance it by adding an aquatic threat?

Looking to jump in (console)

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 08:33 AM PST

I know I'm a console pleb. But I'm interested in the game. I was going to purchase at launch when it came to PS4, but it was a fucking mess. Is it still in the same state or has it vastly improved ? Thanks :)

What good is the land claim block in single player?

Posted: 28 Dec 2017 07:45 AM PST

I haven't been able to pick up workbenches, etc. Is it possible to pick workbenches, concrete mixers, etc. if you have placed a land claim block?
