| Found Reason For Moira's Orbs not working Posted: 17 Dec 2017 08:46 AM PST Hi guys! Sometimes i can't use Moira's Orbs anymore. The E key seem not to have any effect. I had to switch character and back to moira to fix this. Here is how to reproduce it: You hit E to bring up Biotic Orbs, but you hit E again to store them away without throwing one. It's therefore safe to assume that her attack nanobots are programmed to destroy their targets' cellular structures. When she deploys an attack orb and says "my will made real," she is demonstrating that her will is to destroy those who oppose her, and that she has physically actualized this very will into reality, by generating a cloud of trillions of nanobots, traveling as one, with the singular purpose of ripping apart each individual cell of her enemies. When Genghis Khan called for a summons, he said that any officer who broke his law by remaining absent "will share the fate of a stone dropped into deep water—they will simply disappear." Moira shares a similar sentiment for her opposition, but unlike Genghis, she has created technology capable of literally making them slowly and painfully disappear from existence itself. He's adorable, fiesty, and most importantly very handsome. But, what if thats not how he acts... its how he was programmed. Hear me out. I know it sounds crazy, but there's some evidence to this claim. Firstly, I pose a question. Have you ever met someone who can drink LAVA and not die? Thought not. No human is capable of this Next, his... odd reactions towards robots and omnics. First, his love, maybe even addiction, towards robots. Note that robots are different to omnics, omnics are more human and have emotions. The robots in question are his turrets, or his 'babies'. But this isn't the same as, for example, calling your dog your baby. No, this is stronger, like a mother and son. Or in this case, like a father and child. Think of someone saying "My Baby!". Do you imagine a Swedish dwarf shouting for his little turret? No, you think of a mother who's baby is in a dangerous spot. "You hear me baby?" Do you imagine a handsome, small, bearded man speaking to his turret? Or a human, speaking to their love who is unresponsive or unconscious. That is what I pose. Are the turrets his creation? Or his child, his lover, his kin? Tell me, do you have a scrapbook full of pictures of your microwave? Of course not. Do you know someone with a scrapbook full of pictures of their family? Their husband or wife? Most people do, so why wouldn't Torb? And now, my most concrete evidence that points to Torbjorn being an omnic. Of course, its his hate for other omnics. It is one of his main character traits. He despises omnics, some might call it 'omnicphobia'. Compare this to, say, homophobia. Homophobes have a higher chance of being gay, studies show. This can be due to them not being happy with who they truly are, so they dislike others that are proud of who they are. This is likely similar with Torb. Perhaps his disdain for omnics is a result of him being an omnic, and not liking who he is. Or, another possiblity, I'm just a Torbjorn addict with too much time on my hands. | Adding damage falloff to Junkrat mines, similar to Pharah Posted: 17 Dec 2017 12:39 PM PST If a mine hits Tracer in the face, she should take more damage than if it's almost out of blast radius. Adding damage falloff to the mines raises the skill ceiling for Junkrat (it is a nerf but not too bad) and preserves the trap/mine combo. It also brings more consistency to explosives.
