With the texture update coming out soon, diamond armour should be made translucent. Posted: 17 Dec 2017 02:16 PM PST For two reasons: real life diamonds are commonly translucent, and this way, end-game players would actually be able to admire their, along with each others', skins without either looking like the generic cyan blob that end-game players usually do, or removing all of their armour and risking being viciously murdered by mobs and evil players.
