This is an opportunity for the more experienced HotS players here to share some of your wisdom with those with less expertise. This thread will be a weekly safehaven for those "noobish" questions you may have been too scared to ask for fear of downvotes, but also can be a great place for in depth discussion if you so wish. So, don't hold back, get your game related questions ready and post away, and hopefully someone can answer them! | We need more skins who are linked to the lore of the heroes Posted: 07 Dec 2017 05:00 AM PST Since Heroes 2.0 (and also before it), some heroes saw variation of their models or new skins who are linked to the lore of those heroes. For exemple "Theramore Jaina" (after the bombing of her city by Garrosh), "Warchief Sylvanas" (after the death of Vol'Jin in WoW Legion), "Daelaam Artanis" (after the death of Zeratul), "Prime Evil Diablo" (D3 version of Diablo), etc... I would like to see more of those kind of skins, so here is a little list of some skin that would fit in this category : If you have some more, I will try to add them on the list! EDIT: List of other ideas:
EDIT : Some people are complaining about the fact that I apparantly spoil the death of some characters like Zeratul. I'm sorry for the spoil, I tought after two years since the release of LotV, most of the people would know this fact either by playing the expansion or by following the lore on Youtube. It's also spoiled completly the the description of the "Daelaam Artanis" skin. It's the same for Vol'Jin death. Sorry again if I might have spoiled you those facts. EDIT : Concerning Lightlord Ragnaros and the Death knight skins from Hearthstone, they are linked to alternative lore from Hearthstone, it's what if the Old Gods were to corrupt the world or the best heroes of Azeroth fell to the scourge. I included them because even tho they aren't cannon in Warcraft lore, they are relevant in some way to another Blizzard game. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Abathur hat needs its own icon on the mini-map Posted: 07 Dec 2017 09:17 AM PST I think this is a quality of life thing more than anything, but it would hopefully help people realize that sometimes you're busy doing something and can't help right away. I had a Nazeebo last night constantly pinging me and complaining for a hat while he was doing random things around the map like grabbing merc camps while I was hatting our Artanis who was in the process of ganking other players or while I was getting free pressure on structures. I'm glad he at least understood that I could help, but while it was happening I was thinking how nice it would be if other people could see what you're up to so that they are more likely to understand why you can't help them at that particular moment. | Let's talk about ults with less than 10% pick rate Posted: 07 Dec 2017 07:48 PM PST I'll start with Lightning Breath (LB). Usually you want Apocalypse, provides some good cc, solid zoning, no channeling, interrupts channeling, global support, etc. If your comp happens to have some setup, Apocalypse bests LB by a even greater margin: Void Prison, Earthquake, Maw, etc. Looking at LB without lvl20 upgrade, mobile heroes jumps out of it in a glimpse, tanky heroes barely feel a scratch. Being a sitting duck and dealing mediocre damage make LB a not so appealing option overall. IMO, LB is screaming for the recent Lili's jugo'1kcups treatment, the shorter CD the shorter it being channeled. Besides, if some power from lvl20 upgrade Hellstorm were shifted to baseline, it could be even more viable. Bloodlust, Rain of Destruction, Life-Binder, Resurrect are also good topics. Rantings're welcomed too. Edit: For baseline LB, maybe also think of it as a superior version of new firebat, reduce armor every damage tick or something. [link] [comments]  | ||

If Blizzard feels like they need to nerf some other aspect of her, I think most D.Va players would gladly take the nerfs for an autoattack buff to bring her somewhat in line with other warriors. I understand she has other strengths, but those strengths simply aren't bringing enough to the table to counter her awful autos. [link] [comments]  | ||

But no matter which Ult I pick, I get blamed for the loss, if loss. This is getting to me. Anybody having similiar tests of virtues and patience, and any advice? Cause I am sick of 3 players who continue suiciding 19vs20, 3vs5 blaming my beautifully succulent jugs or my big and powerful snake for the loss. I just want to mouseover the season text (i.e. where it says "2017, Season 3") or even the season progress bar, and it tell me the exact season end date.
