He's played 3 and New Vegas and loves them both. He prefers New Vegas, he's been playing it a lot lately. Its pretty awesome having such a cool dad. [link] [comments]  |

We adopted him late November, and found out a few days later that he had Parvo, knowing the statistics for that virus, my heart was broken. But like a true Minuteman, he kicked Parvos ass and is back to being the rambunctious puppy that he was. (Also, we were torn between Nick Valentine and Preston Garvey, but he's definitely an embodiment of Garvey) We are wanting to make him a Preston Garvey costume, but we don't even know where to start. | Posted: 26 Dec 2017 03:37 AM PST Got FO4 as a christmas gift from my sister (she's the best) and now I feel like I'm doing everything wrong. Settlement stuff doesn't work (built a lantern, connected it, game told me to built a lantern afterwards), Codsworth gets like 50% of my kills, and I died in the Corvega Factory to a Molotov I threw against a fence. It just feels like I'm an idiot, even if I win fights. Only died once (EDIT: Twice now), but I'm low and Stimpaks and don't feel ready to actually get out of the northwest area. Is this normal? UPDATE: Alright, gettin' into it now. Found a ton of chems and beverages on my way to Diamond City and sold them all to Arturo for some sweet pieces of armor and tons of fusion cells for the Righteous Authority (I'm just gonna name it Ashtray). Just reached level 10 in the Combat Zone. I still don't like how settlements work and I'm just using them to store companions, but at least I get tons of material. Still got a question though: Looking at the companions, is there a "best" one? Just wanna loot everything and throw it in my buddy's pockets. But not Strong, I'm mutant-racist. [link] [comments]  |

Tried updating my graphics drivers and resetting my .ini. It only happens in FO4 and isn't like memory video corruption. Has anyone experienced a similar issue? [link] [comments]  |

| [Lore] There doesn't seem to be too much lore about Britain, so I decided to make my own Posted: 26 Dec 2017 11:03 AM PST Looking at the Wiki, there seems to be a lack of lore for both Britain and seeming the rest of Europe, I decided to get a bit creative and start developing what I think happened to the post Great-War Britain. Before I get into the starting date of my story-line I just wanna say if anyone else wants to help or add to this, feel free. Unlike the US Britain did not experience wide-spread nuclear holocaust, instead the only nuclear strike to hit the Islands was from the resource war vs the middle east. Due to the lack of oil the British government instead focused on Energy power, specifically using tidal waves to power basically everything in the country just before the break-up of the European commonwealth in 2060 and the great war in 2077. The global EMP from the nuclear lunches were catastrophic for Britain; as the country, just before the great war, was nearly solely dependent on energy. This caused the breakdown of all order and a wide-spread famine quickly accompanied the EMP strike. After the downfall of the government, only small hovels and villages remained due to the tiny population left. It was only until 2100 when the British government and other forces started to gain power and prominence, under the lead of Henry IX the monarchy was able to take back most of England, excluding York, Northumbria and Kent. After Henry IX's death, his son Henry X took power in 2168, and due to incompetence and rampant corruption, the other powers, most notably the North English Republic was able to decisively defeat the Monarchy in the Battle of Sowerby Bridge in 2176. This lead to Break-off states, such as Cornwall and Norfolk to gain independence as well as Northumbria and Kent being able to gain land that was desired. Kent Merged itself with Sussex in 2177 to form the South Eastern Union, which started to trade with French and other European powers. The Kingdom of England underwent extreme turmoil and civil unrest, leading to the Assassination of Henry X and his son, George. Leading to Victoria II to gain the crown in 2184, Unlike her father, she was able to achieve military victories, taking Norwich from Norfolk and pushing back the Cornish Confederacy. In 2192, from the more unknown regions of Wales invaded the Marches Victoria II finds herself in a precarious position as committing forces to deal with the eastern threat may leave her vulnerable to invasions from the South and the North. The South Eastern Union starts colonisation on the Isle of Wight and the North England Republic seems to be preparing for war... Any feedback or suggestions would be really welcome For a look at the current territorial occupations of each power as well as flags look here! | Posted: 26 Dec 2017 09:32 AM PST Hello, So I have the enhanced camera mod and the pip-boy 2500 mods which I installed using the nexus mod manager and I have the fallout script extender. The problem is that when I look down to my character's body I see the pipboy 2500 in my hand but when I try to bring it to my face, the camera shows me the PC's wrist with no pipboy 3000 on it instead of the 2500 in my hand So is this a compatibility issue, and if so could someone send me a link for a compatibility pack? If is not what should I check (folders, etc, although I installed using the nexus mod manager) to ensure it is properly installed? [link] [comments]  |

About how he took down a government, ran a casino, and had sex with a bunch of hookers. After more conversation of what he was playing he recommended I play fallout3. So with an extra $20 I went and bought the GOTY for fallout 3 on the ps3. I fell in love with the game and ever since then I've played fallout non-stop while trying to collect whatever I can.
