Posted: 19 Dec 2017 12:30 PM PST Got back into D2 (nope, Destiny 2 is not D2) because of the new ladder reset, of course. I am wondering if there are bots still running around or not. I will admit I used to use such 3rd party programs, and recently stopped (last season about around the time things got real serious with the bans) because most of my CD Keys were disabled from either myself or others using the key as I got them from a 3rd party site. All of this being said, I've been having fun playing casually to get my sorc up to spec for some magic finding (only just now getting to NM ancients), and just want to know really what to expect with the value of things - have the bots dropped enough to allow the normal, everyday, players have a chance to sell something, or would I be better off just trying to stay self-found for the most part? Accepting all comments towards this, whether it be bashing me for botting in the past or helping me out with some information on what you've seen so far, or any information you may know. Best course of action to gear up? Posted: 19 Dec 2017 09:11 AM PST I have been playing d3 for awhile now, although pretty casually. I am playing a HOTA IK barb and am at about paragon 700 this season, with every legendary I need but only a few ancients and some with sub-optimal stats. I mostly play solo although I am considering setting up a support build for rat runs to farm xp/gem levels for augments etc. I have cleared GR 88 solo. My question is, what is the best way to farm for all ancients? I was thinking probably just doing the shit out of some split bounties and neph rifts till I am overfarmed on mats but just wondering if I should prioritize bounties or not. I was also considering doing speed 70-75 GRs. I have a whirlwind build for bounties but it ends up either too squishy or not enough damage and I don't wanna dump a ton of resources into it so I've been using IK Hota with in geom for bounties/speed t13s. Also, is there a point where GRs become better than t13 neph rifts for gearing up? [link] [comments]
WD NRift speed farming with Arachyr Set? Posted: 19 Dec 2017 05:58 PM PST Hi all, I'm new to D3, I managed to complete the Season objectives (except for Slayer, but I'm working on it!) and I'm looking for a build that will help me speed farm NRifts, both for GRift keystones and regular drops/gold. (Got myself a Boon of the Hoarder and Goldwrap so I'm excited for that) Since the character is pretty fresh, I have a limited variety of legendaries and the only set I have is the Arachyr set. Is there a viable speed farming build that I can use with just Arachyr, hopefully minimally dependent on other legendaries? Followup: Would a build like this also be effective for Bounties, or would that typically require a different set up? Followup to the followup: Any general tips for a noob looking to get further into endgame would be appreciated too :) Thanks! [link] [comments]

Wondering what to roll on this Primal Yang's Posted: 19 Dec 2017 08:25 PM PST So this just dropped. Probably be the only good primal I'll ever get let alone this season. Could use some help on the rolling options though. Was thinking rolling the LoH to something else like AD. Maybe CD but I have basically enough CD with my gloves, shoulders, and Quiver. Need Help with Champion Objectives... Posted: 19 Dec 2017 01:38 PM PST Before Season 12, my only D3 experience was to complete the storyline. Now I am having a blast taking a Witch Doctor through Season 12. I am currently running a Firebats build at Paragon 322. I'm playing on Torment X and going through the Champion objectives, but I seem to be stuck on two of them. I seem so far away from "finishing a Nephalem Rift within 6 minutes", but at least I feel like it's possible with a few tweaks. On the other hand, slaying "the Savage Behemoth and the Undying One" in the Realm of Terror seems impossible to me, at least with a Firebats build. I can kill the Undying One without much trouble, but I'm having a hard time burning down the Behemoth before he one-shots me. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Here is an image of my build if that helps at all: Arachyr - Firebats [link] [comments]
Posted: 19 Dec 2017 06:49 PM PST Itemization in D3 is pretty streamlined and there are only a few affixes which players are looking for. That has various reasons, but I do not want to get into them in this thread. Instead, I would like to list some of the affixes that I think would be awesome if they would come to Diablo 4. Certainly affixes like attack speed, elite damage, area damage and critical hit chance (not necessarily critical hit damage) should return as well, but I will list new affixes below that are not in D3, but which would make itemization much, much more deep, complex and diverse, at least in D4. Overpower This means that your attacks have a chance to not being able to be blocked, dodged, or parried by the enemy and that this attack also deals x% increased damage Increased damage against CC'ed enemies This affix works like the Necromancer ring Krysbin's Sentence: you deal x% increased damage against slowed enemies, and double/triple the amount against enemies under a hard CC like stun, freeze, fear, confuse, charm etc. Crushing Blow We had that affix in D2 and also for a while in D3 during the RoS beta, however, it was removed by the devs because it was too powerful. Hitting an enemy with a crushing blow reduces the enemies current health (not maximum health) by 25%. With this affix it was possible to reduce the time it took to kill a boss monster on very high difficulties (back than Torment 6 was considered the highest difficulty) from up to a few hours to just a few minutes because of this one affix alone. The devs nerfed this affix by making it less efficient against bosses and elites, but it was still not enough, however I think that if the amount of life drained by crushing blow would reduce even further based on the difficulty level and the amount of players in the game and also making the chance to trigger a crushing blow dependent on the proc coefficient would make this affix much more balanced. In general, crushing blow is great against enemies that have a large health pool, while not being so efficient against enemies with smaller health pools. A great concept that I would like to see returning one day (as long as it is balanced). Ignore x% of targets resistances An affix that allows your damage to pierces through / ignore a certain percentage of an enemies (elemental) resistance. For example an enemy could have 4000 fire resistance which gives it a certain amount of percentual damage reduction to fire and you ignore 25% of its fire resistances, which means that now your fire skills deal damage as if your target only has 3000 fire resistance. But that assumes that monsters actually would have resistances and I think that this would be an amazing idea. Some monsters could have higher resistances to physical damage, while other enemies have a low fire resistance but therefore a high cold or lightning resistance. That would be awesome because it gives enemies more of an identity! Remember that resistances are not equivalent to immnuites!! Resistances reduce the amount of damage that an enemy take from a specific element, while immunity means that the target takes no damage from a certain element at all. I do not want to see monsters being completely immune to damage of a certain element as well, but I would like to see them having some resistances. Ignore x% of targets armor This works exactly like the previous "ignore x% of targets resistances", but instead of ignoring a targets resistance, this one ignores armor, which also assumes that enemies will have armor, which also would be awesome! Deadly Strike The idea behind this affix is that it basically works similar to some of the Necromancer skills like Frailty or Grim Scythe's rune Execution: it instantly kills enemies which are below a certain threshold of life, for example if you have 17% Deadly Strike, all targets that are below 17% life instantly die when you hit them with an attack and when you have 9% Deadly Strike, they die at 9% health. So what do you think? Would you also like to see some of these affixes in D3 or in D4? And do you have other ideas for new affixes? [link] [comments]
Tips on playing Firebird Meteor Wiz Posted: 19 Dec 2017 10:31 AM PST Hey all, I've recently made a Wiz to try out the Firebird Meteor build. It's actually really awesome having a bunch of meteors rain down on my enemies. I'm currently having trouble staying alive though. I know I'm supposed to look for elites to ignite them for the full Firebird buff and then kill trash mobs while kiting the elite with me. The problem is everything below GR60 dies really fast so I can't get the full Firebird's buff and then everything above GR60 one shots me, especially the Khazra (?) Spear throwers, the lightning affix elites, and the succubus to name a few. Here's a link to my Wiz on D3Planner (https://www.d3planner.com/813734330). Will leveling my gems help me? Will I have to use a Unity/Immortal Follower combo? I initially followed the Firebird build/gear from the leaderboards. So I'm currently wearing a CoE, I haven't had Unities drop for my Wiz yet. I saw some videos from Rhykker and Bluddshed on how to play meteor wiz and they were able to clear higher GRs no problem with suboptimal gear. I love the build and want to try and push higher GRs than just 60. Any kind of advice would help. [link] [comments]
Thinking about (finally) starting the season Posted: 19 Dec 2017 10:58 AM PST Any suggestions? I just want the wings (because I'll probably never get to the stash tab XD) [link] [comments]

QoL Suggestion for Hellfire Amulet Posted: 19 Dec 2017 10:55 AM PST Instead of having random passives upon crafting, the amulet instead gives a fifth passive slot on the skill interface. [link] [comments]
Is it possible to run Diablo 2 on an IPad? Posted: 18 Dec 2017 11:16 PM PST I can't run it on my pc, I think the hard drive is screwed. I have an iPad Air with iOS 7.1.1. Is there any way to make this happen? [link] [comments]
