In January 2016, @ropzicle was Gold League on @FACEIT In January 2017, he won FPL. In April 2017, @mousesports signed him. Today he is in the Grand Finals of the FACEIT's $750,000 @ecsleague There is no better description of the goal and core idea of the @FACEIT platform.

Thanks to FACEIT for the amazing event and one of the best LANs of 2017

  • Zero issues, zero downtime, compared to most of the events this year

  • Hands down best custom hud ui this year

  • top notch observing

  • laid back with some amazing videos, interviews and entertainment that made up for the lack of the crowd.

  • amazing grand finals

  • most of the players tweeting that player treatment was best this year

One of the best events of the year hands down, if not the very best. Looking forward to their Season 5 finals in London next year (Season 3 crowd was amazing)

Resume of fer's interview with Gaules

Posted: 17 Dec 2017 09:59 AM PST

Link of the interview in PT-BR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__hFoWiqAI8

TL:DW: (Sorry for spelling errors and formatting).

  • Tried to be a professional soccer player at 14, tried motocross after, but his family didn't had the money.

  • Joined CS on SUAP, the lineup taught him how to play CS. Didn't know that competitive CS existed.

  • Fer doesn't watch any demos and refuse to know any information about his opponents, this information can change his playstyle.

  • When he discovered competitive CS and knew about FalleN's team, he hated them and wanted to beat them inside and outside of CS.

  • Went to his first LAN, when everyone thought he was an onliner, and was the revelation of the tournament.

  • After this tournament, bit from playArt, invited him to his team and he instantly refused, because he hated them, he only joined playArt, after kNg joined. Lineup: FalleN, fer, kNg, fnx e bit.

  • When he first encountered FalleN personally, he wanted to beat him, FalleN already had this oldguy way, after they had a conversation and started to knew each other, he changed this conception of FalleN.

  • When he's focused, he didn't even know who's he's playing against until later at the game. Doesn't care about critics from outside, only from his teammates. SK has a psychologist for about 5 months now and helped him tremendously. He listens to Dead and Camila for advice.

  • In Odense in a recent tournament, everything closes early, SK only ate at McDonald's every night.

  • Only breathed with one nostril until 2016 (shoowtime replaced him), nowadays is perfect.

  • He pierced his tympanum poking his ear. One ear is infected and come and goes from time to time, he's medicating himself, never told anyone about that, because he played several tournaments hearing only on one side, fearing that he might be kicked, that's why he plays aggressively.

  • When he turns his character to try to hear the enemy team, and dies from the side, people asked why he did that, he always said that he thought he would be flashed. Thought of retiring because of that.

  • Between 2011 and 2012 didn't earn any money.

  • On Kabum, between 2013 and 2014 won everything in Brazil, after Aspen received a invitation to qualify for the major, and Kabum didn't had the money to send the team.

  • To earn the money to go to the qualifier thought of streaming 24/7, they were abroad and had a meeting and decided that they couldn't go on like that in another country without money, he said there that if they didn't go to the qualifier he wouldn't play CS anymore. (Lineup: FalleN, fer, zqk, boltz and steel)

  • When he came back in the bedroom, they decided to try to go to the qualifier with fer, then the story with the donations came in.

  • Thinks this new sticker system for every team at the major, devalues the sentiment of earning the sticker.

  • Kabum lost them because of money. In Keyd, they had a contract with barely any salary. Dead paid almost everything, so they could live abroad.

  • ptr introduced them to Buuyyaakkaa, founder of Luminosity. And they didn't had any contract with Keyd, so Buuyyaakkaa offered to pay for everything and a salary of $300, they were incredibly happy.

  • Then ptr disclosed that they received $1500 in Luminosity, and fer thought this was insane, because they were miles ahead of Luminosity.

  • Then they started to negotiate with Buuyyaakkaa, and another organization offered $1000. Then after a lot of fight, Buuyyaakkaa said "Ok, $1500, but it's take it or leave it". They signed on the spot.

  • Keyd received all the money from the stickers, ~$8000 for each player, but it was on the transition period, then Keyd said they had a loss with them abroad, so they took all the money. This was the price to move to Luminosity.

  • Fer thought the first tournament that they won with Luminosity was the major, but they won MAX5 invitational before that. On the major, they played so well, because they had nothing to lose.

  • After they won the major, they had a meeting on the next day, at the time they were transitioning to SK so they barely could grasp that they won the major.

  • FalleN said that Alex (SK) sent him and email about joining SK, FalleN was against the move, fer said that he would talk to Alex and they started to negotiate. He recognises that it was wrong how he handled, but it was a dream of his. He handled the entire negotiation in the behalf of the team.

  • The ranking is just a number for him, because every week has a new tournament.

  • Doesn't believe that playing every tournament is the way to go.

  • It's very difficult for him to play abroad, because he lives in a country where his family, friends and girlfriend doesn't live there.

  • SK it's like a heart, every one of them needs to be a part of the team and have the same mentality. Believes that SK is the only team to take their trophies to their home.

  • Boltz is now a part of the team, because he has the same mentality, when he got kicked the first time, he didn't.

  • They are on vacation until the 5th, after that they will go to the US. They can't play the major with boltz, but they will train with boltz, because they believe that they are not practicing for the major, but the rest of the year, they believe that the rest of the tournaments have a lot more prestige than the major nowadays. They'll play with felps in the major.

  • Their contract will end on the middle of the year, SK's already negotiating. They are happy on SK, but they are available to offers.

  • He doesn't like attention and to do interviews, he's been nominated alongside FalleN and cold to win the best of the year in a brazilian network, but he says that he won't go, he's sorry but he just doesn't like the attention.

  • In the past, he was a emotional player and screamed a lot, today he doesn't show any emotion, because improves his consistency.

  • He thought about creating a brand, but he doesn't want to create a mousepad, etc. He wants to create a fever, something that has value.

  • He doesn't think about college, he invests his money into construction because his father is a civil engineer. His dream is to help his family and to have his own.

  • Thinks that the community's wrong judging the Team Villamix, they go to the parties with their own money. Fnx, for example, has his own brand, he planned his future, you can't judge him because he likes to party.

  • He prefers to do this kind of interview because it feels like a chat, specially because his being interviewed by a guy that knows CS. Gaules is a brazilian legend in 1.6.

  • Fer thanks his fans and says that he will bring more trophies to SK next year.
