Dutch queen Wilhelmina has just been teased on TV Posted: 09 Dec 2017 10:23 AM PST On a live Dutch TV show queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands has just been teased including a video featuring Polders & Radio Orange (WWII). I can't seem to find any info on this yet though: is this a first? EDIT: Got some screenshots including the leader itself, the Polders and their stats. [link] [comments]

I think there should be some city-states that affect spying, naval units, air units and food. Posted: 09 Dec 2017 08:21 AM PST Right now we have city-states that affect science, gold, culture, faith, armies and probably something else I'm not remembering. However there aren't any city-states that affect spying, naval units, air units or food. Perhaps Calgary, Alberta could be a food-oriented city-state? What do you guys think? [link] [comments]

[Historical] A Bronze Age Collapse Civ for Rise and Fall? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 10:38 AM PST Since the new expansion for Civ VI focuses of the Rise and Fall of civilizations, it is likely that one of the new civs for it is associated to a fall. There will be both Golden Ages and Dark Ages in it. Now of of the most famous Falls and the following Dark Age is of Rome. However there is another famous Dark Age: The collapse of the Late Bronze Age Empires of the Near or Middle East. Empires Fell. Kingdoms collapsed. History was lost forever. Who could represent it? Egypt: Wrecked by the Sea Peoples. Egypt already in the game. Hittites: Wrecked by the Sea Peoples. Mycenaean Greece: Got Destroyed by the Sea Peoples and "invaded" by Dorian Greeks". Greeks already in the game twice already. Assyria: Survived it. (NO SEA) The collapse didn't hurt it as much and took advantage. Poor leadership and civil wars caused it to shrink over the centuries and Babylon got free. Kassites: Got conquered by Elam Elam: Survived it. Then Neb I of Babylon beat them up. Babylon: Was controlled by Assyria but much later become independent and a major power when Assyria declined Sea Peoples: Caused the Mess. 100% in the game if we knew who they were. Looks like if one of them makes it in, it's Assyria or Babylon. Or Sea Peoples if someone is crazy. [link] [comments]
Earth Goddess is a bit broken and needs to be rebalanced Posted: 09 Dec 2017 02:36 PM PST So as long as you aren't in the middle the desert or tundra, getting tiles that are Charming (+2) in appeal is very easy. It's quite easy to have practically all of your worked tiles in the early game to be producing 1 faith. Even when you get your mines up and lose appeal on production tiles, you can still be making up to 30 faith per turn in the early game with ONE holy site and no shrine. It doesn't require you to settle near any type of specific (read: bad) terrain or build multiple holy sites to get the bonuses. I played a game yesterday where I was making 61 faith per turn by pikemen with one holy site that had a shrine and a temple. Compare this something like stone circles which gives you 2 faith per quarry. This requires you to go out of your way to work the tiles, as opposed to this pantheon where you can usually switch you tiles up freely and still get faith from whatever tiles you choose to work (with a few exceptions). All of this was on Greece, a nation that gets no bonuses to faith production. As of right now, if you're looking for a faith producing pantheon, it's hard not to pick this in 90% of your games. The problem right now is that I feel like a regular grassland/plains start with a couple mountains is better than a desert folklore start, and if you're going to stuck in the desert or tundra, YOU should be the one with a bonus to faith. What are your favorite mod combinations? Posted: 09 Dec 2017 04:09 PM PST My friend and I are looking for mod combo suggestions, thought you guys might have some good ones. These are the mods we're currently using: https://imgur.com/a/ZEAuG We've tried adding Moar Units and/or Team Start Locations, but there seems to be a conflict and neither of them work. (If you know how to fix that, lmk). What are your favorite mods? [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Dec 2017 03:42 PM PST I was playing online with a friend, we do us verses teams of computers. Well he recruited the great engineer that gives 100% boost to space race projects. He doesn't have spaceports. He then deleted him. Then when I went to the great people screen I saw that the engineer is still there and the cost was cut in half. This was the very next turn. Is this is a thing? Have you seen this, heard about this? Edit: Civ 6. [link] [comments] |
